We arrived in Hydra late in the afternoon. A water taxi was waiting for us at the port to take us to this little slice of heaven. As we stepped off the boat, our luggage was taken and we received two glasses of fresh squeezed lemonade. And from then on I gongs just got better. The service kind and generous, the place on the beach, food delicious and excellent shuttle service to and from the main village, I will definitely go back again!!!

I didn't stay at the hotel but I walked, in the heat, from Vlychos Beach, it took about 15 minutes. It was 12.30pm - I wanted to sit in the outdoor restaurant by the sea for a drink...I was told I couldn't sit at the tables that were set for lunch, even though there were no customers in the restaurant at the time - I was offered to sit in the reception area but I preferred to sit outside near the sea...the head waiter eventually allowed me to sit at the back at an unset table. I was made to feel very unwelcome, if it wasn't so hot I wouldn't have stayed! Not the service I would expect from Four Seasons!

This resort is really nice. The location is out of town so it very quiet. The hotel runs an hourly water taxi service into town. If you elect to walk it is a 45 minute walk back in the evening. The rooms are nice and staff very decent. I would highly recommend this place.

We walked here from Hydra twice for lunch. The setting is particularly beautiful. Impeccable service and excellent food. Despite being part of a luxury hotel, prices were similar to other nice places on the island. Very, very highly recommend

Excellent beach, the food superb and the service impeccable! The staff is very friendly, willlling to assist and always smiling. The restaurant is in front of the sea and even though the weather was cold, they provided heaters and blankets. The best moment was when we saw the fisherman bringing fresh fish with his boat and we had the chance to choose the ones we ate afterwards ! We will be back for sure!

We didn’t stay at the Four Seasons, but took one of the boats from Hydra Town for a day at their beach. It’s well set up, not too close together. Sells out fast, so make a reservation for the weekend during high season or make sure to get there nice and early. Bring water shoes, as it’s pebbly. Lunch is served on the terrace, well worth it. Beach service is excellent, the waiter incredibly friendly and hard working - best service we’ve had on Hydra beaches and those on surrounding islands.

Best beach experience in Hydra. Great beach vibe, excellent restaurant on the beach. Freshwater shower on the beach which is rare. Supposedly an excellent place for a wedding. We saw a really beautiful traditional one going one. The key to the whole place is TIMO, the man-machine who runs the entire beach single handedly with a smile. Ask him about working as a shepherd 5 am- 11 pm every day without a break for 13 years. This guy deserves big tips. Not a lot of people working with his energy anywhere in the hospitality business; I would hire him in a second. Of course the service here is exceptional across the board . Thanks Four Seasons for a great experience!

Superb hotel and services for a family wedding. 120 guests for the parties over the weekend. Exceptional attention to detail and courteous and thoughtful service. Wonderful private location with own beaches and private excellent boat service to and from town. Not to be missed.
