Holiday Inn Express SWANSEA - EAST by IHG ★★★
"Good hotel for a short break. Nice staff and thanks to James for being kind and accommodating our needs. Breakfast is good. Location is out of Swansea though. I wish there was a fitness centre. Free parking. Would stay there again"
St Ives ★★★
"We stayed in room 2 for a week while we were waiting for our house to complete and after reading the reviews wasn't expecting much. We can safely say the reviews must be of a different place, from booking the room we were greeted by the manager, who was very friendly, polite and professional, he showed us to our room explained how we get in after ours etc, nothing seemed to much trouble for him or his staff During our stay we never wanted for anything, if we needed fresh towels, more tea and coffee etc we just asked and within minutes it was with us, the room was tidy and clean and cosy, I would have no worries about staying here again"
Castle Hotel ★★★
"Located in the heart of the town, a 3-minute walk from the train station, with a shopping street down the back street, and about a 5-minute walk from the large Morrison supermarket. The service is excellent, but the facilities are a bit outdated."
3 Bed House - Sleeps 6 - Parking - Garden - WIfi ★★★
Sgwd Gwladys Lodge ★★★
"Stayed for 2 nights mid week, paid extra for the bigger room. Slept on the floor 2 nights as the metal bed was so squeaky and you could not make a single move without it squeaking. Bought this to the attention of the staff, they tightened the bed, but didn’t work. Velux roof blinds don’t close properly. The shower…….. apart from being the smallest shower cubicle I’ve ever used, the shower unit was dripping water, the water would be hot, then cold, then scorching. The basin takes forever to get hot, but then you have to turn the tap off as the basin over flows. The food was ok, but very expensive for breakfast especially when staying, would have expected some level of discount for staying. You have to park on the road and then walk along the road to get to the lodge, dicing with cars, due to some roadworks and building work currently going on. The staff are friendly enough and helpful, but when you are paying over £200 for 2 nights there is far more expected and I feel that the rooms need some TLC. The saving grace was the waterfalls but was glad to leave after 2 days so that we could get a decent night sleep. Such a shame but would not return here and would look to stay elsewhere."
Towers Hotel & Spa ★★★
"The room facilities are old, but the environment is good, many people come here for a weekend holiday."
