Negombo Homestays

It's close to the airport. It may be convenient for a little stay due to time. But there are no shops or buses nearby. Nearby bus stop or train station It is difficult to walk without using a taxi or tuk-tuk. There are no amenities. I need to bring it. The room only has a rack, a chair, and a trash can for hanging clothes. There is breakfast. Food is to be eaten on the roof terrace. Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 cuisine milk rice, coconut 🥥 used samball served. It was spicy but very delicious. Hotel tuk 🏨 I think the tuk is expensive. I had money troubles. I went shopping at the place I asked for, and it took a long time because the cash register was crowded. I was charged an astonishing amount. ,, I asked why, but the answer was difficult to understand. A little disappointing. It is better to discuss the money with the owner before using it. I paid for this hotel booking site and stayed at the hotel I was charged for my stay. I showed the image of the receipt from the app, explained it, and asked for a refund. I made a bill payment together with a tuk-tuk, Because the tuk tuk was priced high for reasons I don't understand I didn't get the full amount paid for the hotel. The owner didn't know I had paid. and answered. Why did you make a reservation by paying with a card from the app site? It was a pity that it was difficult to understand whether it was answered like that and what kind of mechanism it is 😢

A beautiful place to stop at Nemombo! Especially after flight)) REALLY close to the airport (15 minutes on tuktuk)! Beautiful hotel area, spacious rooms! There are all necessary for comfortable rest! Delicious Sasha restaurant five minutes walk from the hotel! Supermarkets, souvenir shops, long coastline in 5-15 minutes on tuck-tuck! The delicious breakfast was included in the cost! Hotel host Udi, a beautiful man! Very polite, participatory, super-responsive, always helps, answers all questions, will do everything in his power to make your rest in the hotel wonderful! I love this place, people! I advise everyone and I will definitely come back myself! ❤️ Thank you very much for everything ❣️

This was the first placed we stayed when we arrived into Sri Lanka, after reading the good reviews we had high expectations and this guest house lived up to them. Arriving late from our flight we were welcomed with a cold drink and shown to our room. So clean and spacious and a really good shower! The host was so helpful in letting us know all about the buses into Negombo and on to Kandy. He couldn’t have been more helpful. I Would recommend this place to anyone :)

It is a small and beautiful hotel. Arrived at the hotel around 9 pm, the boss had waited there and welcomed us warmly, gave us a local very special sour and sweet drink, and then patiently introduced us to the relevant information. The layout of the homestay is very beautiful. The water pressure and water temperature are very suitable when taking a bath. There is also a small balcony where no mosquitoes are encountered. Going downstairs at night, the sound in the living room is playing music, so emotional! ! ! Walking in the hotel garden, with the lights, sitting on the rocking chair, feeling the breeze, very comfortable ～ The breakfast time was agreed, but it was 20 minutes late and we were not urged. When we arrived at the restaurant, the proprietress brought the breakfast up, warm, and the boss patiently and politely introduced us to each kind of food. Very rich breakfast, you can choose black tea or coffee, with drinking water and fruit drinks, sausage and flown fried eggs, I love it! Local specialties of pasta and fruit, mainly sweet, roasted toast, as well as jam and butter, don't be too perfect ～ The boss and the proprietress get along very comfortable, and the speech behavior makes people feel very friendly and enthusiastic. When we left, the driver and we also said that we felt that the boss was very good and very polite. Unfortunately, I chose to stay in Negombo for one night. I am very sorry. I hope I can come to Sri Lanka again in the future and stay in this hotel for a few more nights. This hotel has a good start for my trip, very happy 😄

As the first place in Sri Lanka，West Dene hotel really leave us a very good impression. Clean and tidy rooms, good breakfast, hotel not far from airport, but quietly. The hotel have a very nice courtyard, ***y tropical trees, including some fruit trees, such as carambola and wax apple tree. In the morning, you can see squirrels eating in the courtyard, really *** and nature in a hamorny with each other. For the most important, hotel boss is very nice and helpful, he gave us good advice about our travel plan, and help arrange cars in a fair price, the last day hotel boss also ask about how is everything going, and saying goodbye to us. The room is quite spacious and clean and has one of the best mattresses in our 3-week stay in Sri Lanka. The hotel is 3 minutes from the city's most animated street with some quality restaurants and a nice bars and 5 minutes from the beach.
