The resort are too far from the beach and the beach also too bad, by the way the hotel didn't provide the TV & internet very slow and keep on cut off ... need to improve furthermore ....

Nice Hotel! We stayed there the last night before the resort closed down for renovation. The location is a little far away from anything so all you can do is enjoy the resort!.

The hotel was designed by Sri Lanka's national treasure, architect Geoffrey Bawa. The environment and ecology are excellent, making it worthwhile to spend an extra day in Negombo just relaxing at the hotel. The rooms are large, but the mattresses are too soft and the facilities are somewhat outdated (though this is a common problem with most hotels in Sri Lanka). The restaurant has a great view, and the prices are generally reasonable, although service charges and taxes add up to about 25%. The food is unremarkable, and a slight disappointment is that the seafood platter we ordered wasn't as delicious as we expected.

A wonderful hotel for a short stopover after the airport! There were very few people, giving a feeling of complete privacy and harmony. Wonderful, smiling staff, beautiful grounds, and a huge 100-meter pool (according to the staff, the largest in the country—and that seems pretty accurate). The rooms are clean, and the huge outdoor bathroom was impressive. There's absolutely nothing to do around the hotel, and the ocean isn't really suitable for swimming. The cuisine also focuses on a healthy lifestyle, with no European dishes on the menu. Sometimes the food got boring, so we ordered pickme delivery from various restaurants.
