Travellers Beach Resort
"The hotel is clean. Located right on the 7 mile beach. Breakfast was basic. Tip: Eat at the restaurant next door, it is cheaper they have good food."
Azul Beach Resort Negril
"1. There was a big stereo type when they found out that we were locals. 2. There was a leak in the bathroom, numerous complaints and nothing was done. water leaking directly on the toilet seat didn't know it it was Grey water or clean water. 3. Buffet line especially breakfast was always run out of items. 4. Had to wait 15 minutes to be seated for Buffet breakfast. And was never offered any water. Had to asked for silverware."
Country Country
"Staff were very friendly at the hotel and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The hotel is coneveniently located across from shops and restaurants. The hotel's beach front was also much nicer than neighbording hotels with a good stretch of sand up front."
Negril Beach Club
"I visit Negril monthly and stay here. It’s not super modernized, but it’s reasonably priced, right on the beach, and has 2 restaurants (1 is open 24 hours) on the beach front, which adds to the convenience. You also get daily housekeeping. I would recommend for travelers who are cost-conscious and want convenience."
Dela De-Rose Guest House Negril Jamaica
Beach House Condos, Negril
"The room and the location were ideal, but they had the most apathetic, unfriendly, and unhelpful reception staff I've ever encountered in my entire life. How they work in the service industry is beyond my understanding. Overall, I would not recommend that people travel/stay in Negril. Countless people looked at us as if we were simply a dollar sign and tried to take advantage of us by charging us 4-8 times more than the locals. Numerous others would engage us in unsolicited conversation and then insist on us paying a tip. Moreover, we were confronted with lots of sketchy people who inappropriately touched my girlfriend on several occasions, and became rude and irate when we wouldn't buy their crap or listen to their pitch. The nature here is gorgeous, but I've traveled all through out the world, and this was one of the worst as far as people trying to take advantage of tourists. There are far better destinations in my humble opinion."
Tamboo Resort
"Good location"
Paradise on the Rocks
"Absolutely had the best time at Rock House! There is not one thing I didn't love, and would recommend it in a heartbeat. Our room was the least expensive, and while small, met our needs. One day I'd love to stay in one of the villas overlooking the sea! Housekeeping was excellent. The grounds are expansive and the cliffside views and access to the water is amazing. You can just sit on a lounge chair all day looking out over the water. The staff is all gracious and wonderful. The guests are from all over, and everyone was kind and friendly. Rock House throws in a little extra something every day - one day a complimentary short massage, another day was free drinks by the pool, and every day we enjoyed happy hour from 5-6 p.m. Sunsets were awesome. Location was great and we walked to nearby restaurants - Sips and Bits, Ericka's, and Xtabi. Had breakfast at Rock House which was tasty. The location allowed us to get out and support more local businesses."

"It was OK. The entertainment was poor. The chef was great, but the staff was no good and the entertainment was boring and I don’t think I’m returning back."

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa - All Inclusive
"A wonderful 8 night stay at Beaches Negril. Rooms - we stayed in room 213 one of the standard rooms. 2 large double comfortable beds, TV, mini bar and balcony. Kept extremely clean by the wonderful house keeping team. Activities - Amazing variety of activities day and night. The entertainment team were so engaging and talented, evening shows such great quality and talent on display Beach - The best beach I've ever had the pleasure of visiting, perfect white sand and blue sea, shallow and perfect for families Great variety of watersports available all included Pools - Beautiful clean pools, loved the waterpark and slides and lazy river great fun Excursions - lots on offer. We thoroughly enjoyed the catamaran trip to Ricks Cafe through Island Routes booked at the excursions desk at the hotel Staff - Now this is what really sets Beaches Negril apart from others. The staff are the most welcoming and kind staff I have ever come across. Every staff member takes the time to talk with you. I was approached several times by management to ask about our stay and to check we were happy with all aspects of the hotel. Many times in our stay I got referred to as "our valued guest" at Beaches Negril you really feel that, valued and cared for by the staff. Food - Wow!! The variety is outstanding. I travelled just me and my 14yr old son we are both vegetarian and he is a picky eater but we needn't have worried there is so much choice available and all of great quality. We had dinner 3 out of 8 nights at Stella Italian as it was so fantastic. Our waiter Tonio really made it for us, he was so kind and engaging taking the time to talk to us and at each returning visit made us feel so welcome. Travelling alone with my son I felt so safe at this resort, my son made lots of friends and enjoyed socialising with them and I really felt I had time to rest and relax. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to return. Thank you Beaches for a perfect holiday ♥️"
Tingalaya's Retreat
"This was a magical retreat space. We so loved the comfort of the authentic & organic "cabin" we stayed in. The entire staff was exceptional in their care, regardless of our request. Our cabin was beautifully furnished with lovely antiques & art. The food was so fresh, healthy & exquisite in taste. We tasted many authentic Jamaican dishes we would likely not get to experience anywhere else. It was refreshing to mingle with the staff. Everyone was delightful. We highly recommend."

The Caves
"We just returned from an anniversary trip to the Caves, such an incredible time that our experience needed to be shared! The Caves is unique, breathtaking, unlike anywhere we have ever been but one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken. The hotel is built into the cliffs on the water, it is incredibly stunning. Jumping into the water from the cliffs and exploring the caves right on the property was unforgettable (all the catamaran tours from other resorts stop to look at the caves on property!) At most, there were seven total couples on property at the same time, so this feels almost like a private vacation, and there are plenty of corners and chairs to spend the day away from anyone else. Unlike some of the large resorts, no fighting for chairs early in the morning, which was a major plus for us. There is no beach, but you can jump from multiple places (including down long stairs right at the edge of the water) so the beach was not missed. Our room was open air (no glass on the windows), with a local AC unit over the bed, which felt more rustic than anywhere else we had ever stayed before, but fits the vibe of this place. The bed and sheets were very comfortable, and with the fans and AC going at night, we were never uncomfortable. Our window opened directly to a view of the ocean, and depending on the weather you could hear waves crashing from the bed in the morning. Highlight for us, easily the best food we had in Jamaica. Unlike some other resorts with buffets and mediocre food for the masses- there is one breakfast/lunch location, and a separate dinner restaurant. Each day, the menus are prepared featuring local Jamaican cuisine (but you can customize/order off menu), and the staff is very proud of sharing their local flavors with guests. Don't skip the private dining in the Cave on property, where a candle-lit cave on the water is the setting for a private dining experience. The staff goes above and beyond to get to know the guests, learn preferences, and make you feel at home at this beautiful place. By the end of the week, they knew our drink orders, how we liked our coffee, etc. which really put the experience here to the next level. They even let you go behind the bar and make your own drinks if no one is there! Special shout out to Randy, Omar, Stacey-Ann, Floyd and Racquel who made this place special. We’re already planning our return. Do yourself a favor and book it!"
Merrils Beach Resort II
"The say was great under the circumstances post Melissa. But will definitely gor back when things pick up."
Sunrise Club Hotel
"Going there is a must, there is no shortage of hotels in Negril, look elsewhere. The rooms are small, good bedding, simple bathroom, low pressure. Only one window, noise if the bar is not far from your room. Ceiling fan and air conditioning. A splendid and large insect is running on the ground, I haven't caught it, where is it? Not in my luggage I hope."
