I stayed there this past weekend while visiting the area. This hotel is anything but what the pictures show. Mold on the crumbling ceilings, dirty bedspread, damaged walls and I am not sure when it was vacuumed last.

I live in the town and the photos in this post are not current. The pool was not open all year. My husband (new to Bardstown ) rented a room this summer just to access the pool. Once he arrived he was advised by the staff that they never claimed it to be open. They also refused a refund! ( he had booked online) The place is in poor repair. In the summer the lawn was overgrown. Its unkempt at best. Our town is beautiful with much to offer. I feel these false photos are extremely misleading to potential guests. This was once a lovely place as the photos show. Sadly it is no longer the hotel as shown in the outdated photos.

Great little cozy Motel centrally located. Upgraded to modern and clean. Staff is very friendly. Shower pressure really nice!! Nice comfy beds along with large size tv.. would not want to miss if you’re on bourbon trail. Very convenient to all the restaurants and bar.

My Husband checks the bed and hot water availability. The water was hot with good pressure in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. I check for plugs and cleanliness. The room was spacious and very clean. There was plenty of plugs to charge electronics. The staff were very friendly and helpful with finding places to eat. I would stay here again.

I'll just list the issues... The room reeked of mildew; there were cobwebs and dirt in every corner; the bedding was hole-y and covered in stains; the tables had a film of dirt and filth from previous guests; the fridge was unplugged and closed, though damp and dirty inside; the closet door was jammed open with its mirrored outside completely shattered; and the bathroom was covered in mildew and filth. The owner was rude...completely apathetic. We had friends in another room with the same story; luckily we had our own sheets. And disinfectant wipes.

Very clean, refreshed large room with private restroom. All clean, and working properly. Spacious parking available. Great location in central part of Bardstown, close to restaurant, shops, or main "square" of city. Perfect for night on bourbon trail. Little minus, lack of breakfast, but coffee machine is available on reception. There is nice small restaurant close to hotel - Marcella's and the After Hours Cafe they served nice snacks and sandwiches and have lovely owners.
