The unit we stayed in was very clean and compact. Could have done with air conditioning or lighter bed linen as was very hot at night

We’ve stayed at Bella Vista before and each time the experience has been great! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming which honestly made our stay even better. It’s rare to come across such genuine hospitality and it’s the main reason we keep coming back. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the location is super convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place with great service and friendly hosts!

Extremely helpful and very kindly sorted out our mix up with dates. Lovely and clean with a very comfy bed. Thank you for being excellent hosts. Let us leave our luggage whilst we picked up our car from the airport which we really appreciate. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Easy to find on the main throughfare through Nelson - very clean and tidy well laid out rooms - walking distance to a number of eateries and bars and a fabulous beach. Traffic noise can be a bit much on busy days - so book early and ask for a room away from the road.

Best motel we have ever visited! Room was spacious and clean and with all the amenities you need. The owners were really friendly, super helpful and service-minded. We have been travelling around in New Zealand, and this stay was definitely one of the best.

Like 2 years ago, the manager immediately offered to carry our suitcases up to our room. We are in our eighties and would have had serious problems with that. He did the same for carrying them down when we left! GREAT SERVICE 👍!!!!
