"We arrived here on an escorted tour and first impressions were not good. Hotel very tired and dated, our room was tiny and on the busy road side. Better than the couple from our tour who were in the basement. Beware floor -1 in the lift, you do not want to be down there. Advertised shuttle bus into town does not exist and the advertised rooftop sun terrace was not open, and no amount of pleading with the staff would get them to open it. Local bus service does get you into Sorrento (5km away) but downhill it is quite a rollercoaster ride! Taxis seem to be extremely expensive in the area. The food was tailored for UK guests I think, so was not authentic Italian cuisine - one of the main reasons for coming to Italy. The "Gala" dinner on our last night was not a triumph. Bless the staff though who tried their best."

Because my family and I don't like the special forces itinerary very much, we want to choose a hotel with the most suitable location and can stay for 3 consecutive nights, drive every day, and travel at any time. Search for hotels in Sorrento on Ctrip, and this hotel is the top recommendation on Ctrip's homepage. But in fact, this hotel is not in Sorrento at all, it is on the hillside outside the city, and there is nothing around it. Although the hotel is less than 13 kilometers away from Sorrento in a straight line, it takes 40 minutes to drive from the hotel, and it is all winding mountain roads. It takes less than an hour to drive from Sorrento to Positano, but it takes 70 minutes to drive from this hotel to Positano. I wanted to go to the reception to change rooms, but I found that the staff had gone off work after 8 pm. No one was on duty, so I could only stand outside the reception door to reply to messages (only here was the WiFi signal full). Then when I went there later, I found that two foreigners were also standing there with their laptops surfing the Internet. So it is a common phenomenon that there is no signal in the room. Poor me, I worked as a doorman for more than two hours on the night of September 30 (because of the time difference, it was already October 1st in China, and it was my birthday on National Day, so I had to make calls and send messages). I went to the front desk to complain, and the staff said sorry to me, then shrugged and shook her head, saying that she couldn't do anything, and there was no room for me to change even though it was fully booked. I was really angry! Second, there was no quilt in the room, and there were only two layers of sheets on the bed. When I found out that there was no quilt on the first night, the front desk was off work and no one cared. My family and I slept on the sheets with bathrobes on. The next day, I asked the cleaning staff for a quilt, and they brought a piece of cotton wool without a quilt cover. I was really furious. How can such a hotel with nothing good still be open? It should have closed down long ago! To sum it up, the hotel is far from anywhere and inconvenient (it is basically impossible to get around without driving), and the hardware and software are ridiculously bad. I really can't think of any reason why this hotel can be recommended at the top. My 4-day free travel in southern Italy + birthday was ruined! So everyone who sees my personal experience, quickly block this hotel, and don't step on the thunder again!"

"The location is fantastic, very close to Piano train station, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was spacious and extremely clean, and they even provided a good selection of drinks and snacks. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff were incredibly warm and responsible, always doing their best to accommodate our needs. We booked two nights, but in different room types. The staff seamlessly coordinated our stays, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Furthermore, after checking out, we had a small unexpected hiccup with our travel plans. The owner was incredibly kind and not only helped us figure out a solution but also personally delivered our luggage to the train station. We're so grateful for that! Overall, the experience was excellent. If I ever visit again, I'll definitely choose to stay here!"

"Chaming family run hotel, 7 minutes from the main square and 8 minutes to railway and train station. clean room, Bed comfortable, shower worked well, plenty of hot water, small fridge in room filled with beer, water ect. Good breakfast, they were very kind and helpful, we enjoyed our four night stay. They have a restaurant in the town that we went to and had an excellent dinner.Very good 3 star hotel close to centre. We walked down to get boat to Carpri, but suggest getting to bus back up. Took the train, too. Pompei very easy, and the station is very close to the entrance. Went by bus to Positano(which also goes on to Almafi) for the day, bit windy so not ideal for those who get car sick.At Positano We had to walkdown and back up to get the bus.Not all places open in February so March would be a good time when things start opening up. We had a great 3 days."
