Be Happy Hostels
"Excelent location, friendly staff and surrounded by everything,(shops, bars, restaurants, groceries) and 5 min walk to the beach."
La Puerta de Nerja Boutique - Adults Recommended ★★★★
"The location was excellent, close to the center of Nerja and with a large underground parking lot right next door. The interior was neatly arranged, and although small, it was spacious and comfortable."
Hotel Villa Flamenca ★★★
"First time visiting Nerja, we went for a wedding. Lovely place. Hotel felt more like a 4* compared to any 3* we have visited. We weren't happy with our room and were able to upgrade at cost. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful during our stay, also provided us with a free bottle of Cava due to the upgrade. Would we stay again, Probably not as there would be better located hotels - Hill is a killer coming back from the beach."
Los Arcos ★★★
"We stayed in the superior room, which has a great terrace with incredible views. Free outdoor parking was a big plus. The breakfast wasn't very varied, but it was adequate. There's a Mercadona supermarket very close by, and choosing this hotel is highly recommended."
Hotel Nerja Club by Dorobe ★★★
"Everything was great, the food was very good, we will return."
Hostel Time Life ★★
"At first, the location on the map was taken in the middle of the health club and the car maintenance station, so everything was perfect except for embarrassment. It's a dormitory because I put a private space on a bunker bed and even a curtain to cover it, but I even felt like a private space. Maybe it was more because it wasn't full that day. First of all, the layout of the bed is very good. It's clean, there are towels, hangers, and plenty of space for hangers. There are plenty of consideration for travelers' convenience. The owner and staff smile and greet and lively. It was a pity that I only stayed for one day."
NerjaRooms ★★★
"The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a terrace. Carlos, the person who received us, is enchanting, as soon as we arrived, gave us a map showing us all the sites to know the village and made very good recommendations to eat."
Charming Nerja Hostel ★★★
"The fact is that our experience in this place was just incredible. Christian's attention is just what you need when you are away from home: warm, close and genuine. I doubtless recommend it; it is a very careful and dedicated person. The place has a special charm, and you note the love with which it has been created. It does not give the impression of being a business made only to earn money, but a careful space with love and hospitality vocation. I would repeat!!!"

Hostal Marissal by Dorobe
"Fabulous hotel in a fabulous location. Had everything we needed - lovely beaches close by, in the centre of everything- staff couldn’t have been nicer. Yes it could do with a bit of a freashen up but our room was cleaned daily, shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Bed very comfortable & air conditioning in the room was good. Get a sea view room, deffo worth the extra. We will be back. Thanks to the hotel for a wonderful stay"
Toboso Apar - Turis
"It's right next to the European Balcony, with the square and sea right outside. Parking is available below the European Balcony square for those driving, at their own expense."
Naim Guest House Nerja
"Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and about ten or fifteen minutes walk to balcon de europa and the main plaza. It’s also around the corner to the main bus stop so good location. My room was facing the Main Street so unfortunately it was very noisy especially with mopeds/ Scooters throughout the night. Ear plugs were available in the room so says it all really. Pool was closed and empty - I had intended to use the pool but I wasn’t informed prior to arrival 😕."
Hotel Al-Andalus
"This is the accommodation I stayed at after touring Caminito del Rey and El Torcal during my trip following the Santiago pilgrimage. The air conditioner was broken, which was worse than I expected, though they did provide hot water. It would have been nice if there had been at least a kettle."
Hotel Toboso Chaparil
"Wow where do we start, from the moment my wife and I arrived at the hotel , the guy at reception ( Wolfgang) was absolutely amazing and so so friendly welcoming and informative and explained everything to us .the hotel itself was brilliant, great pool area on roof with fabulous views and plenty of sun loungers . Breakfast every morning was fresh and a great selection, the rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels and linen. All staff were absolutely friendly and helpful. Management you should applaud your staff for their professionalism. We would highly recommend Toboso Chaparil , and so looking forward to seeing you all again next year if not sooner. Keep up the great work everyone. Billy & Janice x"
Apartamentos Playamaro
"To whom it may concern, My name is María Hinojosa Peralta and I stayed at the Hotel Playamaro, with a reservation made through the platform ***********. I wish to file a formal complaint because the actual conditions of the accommodation do not match the images or description published on the platform at all. Upon arrival: • There was no receptionist or visible staff. • The place appeared abandoned or closed. • The entrance and common areas made me feel unsafe and afraid. • I believe the advertisement constitutes false advertising, as the information and photos published do not reflect reality. I request: 1. A partial or full refund of the amount paid. 2. That the accommodation listing be reviewed and, if necessary, removed for failing to meet the minimum standards of safety, customer service, and transparency. I have attached photographic evidence and a copy of the reservation as proof. I expect a prompt response to this complaint. Should I not receive one, I reserve the right to contact the appropriate consumer protection authorities. This is a SCAM! I HOPE A HEALTH INSPECTION COMES SOON!"

"Very good communication and great breakfasts! Very close to the centre, perfect"
Casa Eva - Adults Only
"Our stay lasted a week, enjoying a well-equipped apartment/studio, spotless, everything very new, and attention to detail. Eva was always attentive and acted as a wonderful guide to the area. A very satisfactory experience that we will repeat soon. Thank you for everything, Eva."
At Almoraide Suites Rooms
"The place is located very close to the beach and bars, and 10 minutes from the town center. Perfect location! I went during the off-season and parking was very easy nearby. The staff were very friendly. The cleanliness was okay, although there was some dog hair, but for the price per night and paying extra for pets, they shouldn't give you the worst apartment, with doors damaged by other animals. But that's why they allow pets in that particular apartment... and I should mention that the furniture is quite cheap and uncomfortable. I think the price is excessive; I expected better facilities, especially since the shower was uncomfortable and water leaked out. And honestly, it wasn't worth what we paid. I don't know if I would return, but if this helps other people take note... I should have read the *********** reviews more carefully..."
Apartamentos Pepe Mesa
"We were told we had been allocated a quiet room. It wasn't....not at all. The premises is located next to a busy and very noisy late bar with an arcade and pool tables. After midnight on our final night the noise was horrendous and we had to warn the bar to lower the noise or we would contact the police. If you are wanting a quiet sleep, this isn't for you."
Hostal Tres Soles
"This was our third stay here in this hostal in the last 5-years; as it suits both our needs and budget. A ‘hostal’: a common type of budget-friendly accommodation that is different; in that if offers private rooms, similar to a guest house or simple hotel; without permanent staffing. On this holiday, as before, we needed to make a baggage-drop immediately we arrived in Nerja at 11:00. This was no problem, as the hostal office is next to the hostal itself. Office open-times are variously reported as between 10:30 and 17:30 every day, but in our experience (backed-up with documents we were issued) it’s open between 10:00 to 15:00. The very pleasant, efficient and helpful English-speaking staff allowed us to leave our baggage in their office until check-in time at 14:00. The hostal is located on the Carabeo Road, a mostly shaded, quiet, pedestrianised and tidy residential road that the odd trade-supply vehicle and taxi’s use to access the Balcón area. Today however it was closed to all vehicles (including our taxi) because of preparations for the “Feria de Nerja” (Nerja Fair). We had to wheel our luggage for about 400mtrs, not really a problem. The fair was due to start a few days after our holiday ended, and with the fair location being right next to this hostal we had chosen our dates carefully to avoid the fair. This is entirely due to the noise in the early hours (typically 05:00) which makes sleep impossible for the 5 nights of the fair. We certainly advise travellers to verify the fair dates before booking nearby hotels and hostals (unless you are avid fair-goers). Our room was on first floor, 16 steps to lug-up our suitcases (there is no lift). The room was spacious with a very small (Juliet-style) balcony looking out onto a rather scruffy piece of open land (the site of the fair). It was quiet most nights; apart from couple in the room below who had additional guests on their last night of their stay. They were noisy until well-gone 03:00 and continued to chat until about 04:00. We did receive a second-hand apology; but that was no compensation for the frustration of a very disturbed night’s sleep. Our airconditioned room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the clean linen and towels were good. The shower was also good, but it took ages for the hot water to run through (same with taps and bidet). The small fridge was sufficient for bottled water. The TV didn’t work; no channels at all. There was plenty of wardrobe space and furnishings were good. The room was well-serviced daily. Our return flight was late in the evening and our taxi was booked for a 18:00 pick-up again 400mtrs from the hotel. So, with check-out being noon, and our taxi being 18:00, we arranged to leave our luggage in the hotel’s basement area. We were supplied with a key-pad code to regain entry to the hostal and were able to collect from the basement without issues. Everything went-to-plan, but as we waited until it was time to walk to"
Hotel Boutique Sibarys - Adults Recommended
"A hotel with a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and the room with sea view is very nice and the breakfast is perfectly suited. I recommend and would like to come back."
Hotel Riu Monica - Adults Only
Apartamentos Latin
"Location is fabulous! With Playa Burriana (steep walk downs and back) one side and Playa Carrabeillo to the other we were very happy. So many places to eat and drink and plenty of ships too! The local supermarket didn't feel over priced or aimed at tourists and the cafe's dotted about were great. The apartment itself is extremely dated. All furniture seems to be cast-offs, bottom draw missing in main room (only one bedside table). No full length mirror. Word of warning, the entry into the shower is rather small width way, and when using the toilet or shower keep windows shut otherwise you could end up with an audience, as it's over looked. Pool was OK, but only enough space for 3 loungers. Luckily it didn't seem anyone wanted to use it when we were, and vice versa. it's fine for a short trip. No welcome pack (not that it's expected but always nice to have some milk and coffee and a bottled water for arrival), Attention to detail could be better."
