"Lovely small hotel, very clean and tidy. A perfect night sleep (without any noise). Our room was above the smoking area (neither of us smoke). Due to the heat wave and being above the smoking area the air -conditioning was needed unfortunately, this was intermittent. I had to mention this to the Reception Team several times. By the 3rd day I asked to speak to a Manager. The Manager kindly offered us another room (shame this wasn’t offered earlier). This room was much better with a beautiful view, no smoking and with air conditioning, I couldn’t fault this. The evening entertainment (on stage) from Mon-Thurs wasn’t very good, the best night was Friday. Thankfully we had the animation team (M and V) they were fantastic, so welcoming, kind, polite, always smiling and very mature for their age. They both worked so well together. We joined in with so many activities; these ranged from darts, table tennis, pool, Uno and many more. Thanks to them we got to meet other lovely couples/families too. We all had a lovely time. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without them. You are both amazing thank you so much."

"It's not our first time in Nessebar, but it was our first time in MPM Arsena. We went to other hotels in that area and none of those was that bad. The good parts: - the food was ok, enough choice for everybody and it was fresh - the pool was clean - the bar had many choices for drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) - private beach - location - right on the beach - beach bar The bad - by far, the room was the worst thing about this hotel - cleaning was the worst that I have seen, speaking about long-term cleaning (mold between the tiles, stained sealing, stains on the walls, see the pictures) - we tried to change our room, but they didn't want to change it - the toilet was leaking, addressed to the reception but nobody came for the whole of our stay (4 days). More than that, the person from the reception was trying to explain to me in a bad English that maybe it's not the toilet, but from the ceiling. - the windows in the bathroom was so badly positioned that people from the other room could see me siting on the toilet - the view was to another room - in the room was so cold, that I came back home with a cold. Tried to adjust the temperature, but the thermostat didn't work at all; even switched off ventilation completely from the thermostat, but ventilation was still on. - the chairs on the beach don't have a small mattress on them, you sit just on your towel - on the private beach there was no "security". People that were not staying in the hotel were coming and sitting there and someone even took my chair while we were in the water. - the beach bar didn't have all the drinks - the outside of the hotel looked dirty - some of the stuff didn't speak English and were sometimes rude If you ask us, you are better off to another hotel than this one."

"Location of this hotel is a 10 minute walk to Flower Street and the beach. It has a Mall to the side of the hotel but none of this was open when we stayed. (15-27th May) which was a shame but I guess we were just too early. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere in the hotel main lobby where there were lots of chairs in to meet friends etc. but…. On the 26th May, piped music was played and was a lot more jollier than it was before that. The room we had was very spacious. D802 it was on the 8th floor so great views! It had everything you need regarding plugs etc and the bed was very comfy (and I’m very fussy) and the cleaners changed the towels everyday & emptied the bins. The bedding was changed numerous times on our 12 day stay. The big negative was that the aircon was stuck on 25° (hot) it was sweltering. We asked the front desk (Toder the manager) for it to be resolved & a guy was sent with us straight away to have a look at it. He fiddled with the buttons & told us that the air con would work once the temp of the room came down from the 25°……. It did not. It made me feel very ill. On returning to the lobby, the 3 men there thought it was very funny. I wasn’t amused. Even though we came just out of high season the price was reasonable. We didn’t wait for the bus to & from the airport. We paid for a taxi when we booked the hotel. The pool looked lovely but by 4pm flocks of seagulls made it their bath time which put me off getting in for a swim. The seagulls also used the children’s pools for their bathtime. The pool bar was not consistent at all with the bar in the lobby saying that this drink or that couldn’t be made. I found the bar staff to be rude, just ignoring you & preferred to be chatting to one another at the end of the bar. That is all except for Todor (very tall Todor- not the manager at reception) he was great. Thanks Todor! The lobby bar was lovely (just a shame the music wasn’t playing until the end of holiday) Tanya & Nialli (so sorry if I spelt your name incorrectly) were so lovely, they always welcomed warmly. And asked if we were having a nice time. They work so hard but were always cheerful & pleasant. They’re a credit to your Hotel! The food I found very plentiful and delicious! Sometimes certain foods were on the cool side but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed tasting different dishes that were available. The fresh fruit section was very appetising and also the breakfast was super."

"Beautiful hotel.We stayed a suite on the 3rd floor overlooking the beach and sea.Could not fault the room,cleanliness and grandeur of the lobby area and pool area.The breakfast was amazing with multiple options for all tastes with a friendly surplus of staff.Evening meals was a buffet which again was great while the outside restaurant food was also very good.The free sunbeds on the beach was a 1 minute walk from the pool area.My only gripe was the unconcerned staff when it was mentioned that the private bodyguards with man bags of some hi power/ogliarch/ocg guests made it a point in attempting to Intimadate guests.I overheard 2 teenage guests discussing the thought that the bodyguards looked like they wanted to kill them.When I mentioned this to reception they where nonplussed.Great hotel which should be calming for all guests but obviously money talks so they don't want to upset these people.Shame."

"I had the privilege of spending a vacation at this hotel for the second time within the last five years, but this time with my wife and our little 8-month-old baby. I was extremely excited to arrive because years ago I had worked, not at this exact hotel, but at another hotel of the same type. As someone who has worked in many hotel chains and currently works as a construction site manager for a large company in the capital, I would like to express my opinion about the hotel. I will address each head manager separately. I will provide constructive criticism, but how they choose to take it is their own responsibility. - Front Office Manager: From the very first day of our arrival, I noticed there was a serious issue with the window frames in the room. I asked for something to be done about it. The receptionist said she would send a technician. A few hours later, I had to ask another receptionist again for a solution to the problem. He responded by changing our room immediately. The issue with the second room was that we were placed above Neptune Hall, where a children’s disco and evening show program are held until 11:00 PM. That night, our baby could not fall asleep until 11:30 PM because of the noise. My constructive criticism is this: when guests have children, rooms should be selected very carefully. Even during the busiest season, such guests should never be accommodated in rooms with faulty windows, broken refrigerators, or near this hall, because there is no way of knowing when the weather might turn bad and the show will be moved indoors. - Housekeeping Manager: Since I stayed in three different rooms, I want to say that the cleaning standards are good, but there is one huge downside in the rooms. What is the most important thing during a vacation? Sleep. If the sleep quality is poor, then the vacation becomes poor as well. The hotel beds are beyond criticism. Over all the years I have visited this hotel, one thing has never changed — the mattresses and pillows. Nothing about them reflects a 5-star hotel standard. For both the hotel’s and guests’ convenience, the easiest solution would be double-sided memory foam mattresses. In this case, guests who dislike soft beds could sleep on the firmer side of the mattress, and vice versa. Pillows are also very important, but the mattress above all. - F&B Manager: For a bartender, it is important that cocktails are appreciated and admired by guests. I am not someone who drinks alcohol, but one thing was unclear to me. When I asked at 9:45 PM whether they could make me a coffee with fresh milk instead of powdered milk from the machine, the bartender Valentina gave me a very strict look and replied rather rudely that it was not possible. Now, I am a very understanding person and not demanding like many of the guests who come to the hotel during May, but her attitude was inappropriate — not only at that specific moment, but throughout the rest of the day. This so-called bartender either needs"

"So looking forward to our holiday but to be honest we are very disappointed.. the lack of evening entertainment and the bar shuts at 10 pm.. one member of bar staff so the queue is horrendous.. no bar snacks.. the daytime snack bar isn’t a snack bar at all.. never have I been to a hotel that doesn’t have a self serving snack bar with burgers , sandwiches, salad and chips etc.. to save you dressing properly and going into the restaurant.. The choice of food in the evening is very limited.. it’s like a budget all inclusive.. they clearly don’t want you eating or drinking.. needs a serious update and to find out what all inclusive really means …the bar and restaurant cooks are rude and unprofessional.. Spoke to lots of guests and they all said the same thing .. very disappointing and unfortunately we will definitely not be returning or recommending this hotel to any of our friends… lack of information about anything and cards to access the lift AND toilets .. ridiculous…"

"We been spending our most precious weeks of the year in this hotel since about 20 yrs. In the years, when LTI run it we fell in love with it and Sunny Beach. After Sentido took over, we were a bit sceptical (anything new is at first something frightening). But the positive aspects came soon. Every year something has improved. The Neptun Beach feeling is still there and even better. What is amazing, this is all done with almost the same staff. From the hotelmanagement, the faboulous guys/gals in the service, the cleaners and the customerrelation guys/gals, every year we see a lot of familiar faces. And if employees stay season over season at one place, the company must do something right. Also the interaction between the colleagues is remarkable. For instance, every time before the restaurant opens, the manager on duty speaks to the whole crew and encurrages them. I have not met one employee moody or unwilling to serve over the years. And if one considers the tough job they do over 5+ month with partually (50%) horrible guests, who think they owe the place for that little money they pay (not the hotels fault), it this is outstanding. One other thing is the sustanibility of this hotel, especially in the restaurant. If you have for instance lamb-roast one evening, you have lamb-stew the next day and lamb-soup the day after. Of course amongst a lot of other delicious offers. Sometimes I see people bickering about the food. There are offers for everyone nearly 24/7 on display. And a lot of possibilities to spice it up. I am a Gourmet and gained 6# in 2 weeks. Questions? Thanks to Mr. Genov and everyone caring for us for a (again!!!) wonderfull time in this well run, clean and pleasant hotel with extremly delicate food. We are anxious to come back. Kind regards"

Entertainment team have been amazing and very kind and helpful. Loved playing darts everyday. They keep you busy and having fun. Beach is nearby with lots of great restaurants too. 10/10 holiday"
