Good location in Bernkastel, but missed the mark.
Don’t take my rankings for this hotel meaning it is bad. But we have been in Germany for over two weeks and have stayed at 6 other hotels, and this was the one that just didn’t meet the same standards. It is in a great area and the room was pretty clean, but they do need a good amount of maintenance. The coat rack fell out of the wall, there was a missing magnifying mirror in the bathroom (just a post coming out of the wall with nothing attached). I was hoping for better for the price and the area. The breakfast was good, but we had dinner at the restaurant and that was mediocre at best. Some of it looked to be a possible short staffed issue.

Perfect stay
I can recomend this from my heart, the staff is wonderful warm hearted and perfect service. I will return here for sure. Good breakfast and the food is so good i had three different sallad so good. All i can say is perfect and close to everything

Prachtige thema kamers, zeer uitgebreid ontbijt en heerlijk vers, kannetje koffie aan de tafel, paar parkeerplekken voor gasten. Wel reserveren. Wij hadden de kamer gottin des glucks, Safari thema, 2 verdiepingen, een klein balkon, open haard, hadden we niet nodig met 29 graden 😆 en op de 2e verdieping van onze kamer een jacuzzi, apart toilet en douche op de begane grond

Im Rahmen eines Kurztrips nach Bernkastel-Kues haben wir heute am frühen Abend im Märchenhotel zu Abend gegessen. Machen wir es kurz: Personal war nett und freundlich, das Essen zum vergessen! Der Salat, den meine Frau gegessen hat ging noch gerade so, meine Schweinebäckchen, gerade mal lauwarm, die Beilage ( Kartoffelecken) war trocken und auch nicht richtig warm. Frisch gekocht ist anders, das was mir serviert wurde, war notdürftig und schlecht aufgewärmt. Hierfür spricht auch die Tatsache, dass das Essen nur wenige Minuten nach unserer Bestellung serviert wurde. Nochmal brauche ich das nicht!

Zeer kleine kaart. Een ongezellig restaurant. De Schnitzel zonder sla of andere groenten. In verhouding daardoor duur. Verder niks van onze smaak op de kaart. Cola zonder prik uit een fles geserveerd. Niet aan te bevelen om te gaan dineren.

Das Essen was wir dort serviert bekommen haben gehört leider zu den schlechtesten was wir je gegessen haben. Schnitzel ist in 5 Minuten serviert worden. Tiefkühl auf, in Fritteuse rein - Kartoffelsalat ohne Geschmack. Bäckchen waren ok - die Kartoffelecken schmeckten verbrannt. Traurig aber wahr - Die Frikadelle die wir danach auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt gegessen haben war um Welten besser. Schade um eigentlich dieses süße Restaurant

Super hotel, super beliggenhed
Dejligt hotel central beliggenhed med parkering og udsigt til vinmarker. "Skævt" rum med masser af sjæl. Jacuzzi og stor seng til 150 € pr. nat. Kaffe på værelset og rigtig fin morgenmad.
Vi manglede kun et bord til at drikke kaffe ved.
