Strange location that seems very safe but Uber often miss the turn and delays for a car are big. The price they charged is not reasonable. The room is small and looks old. Also very noisy. The stuff first looked polite but Wanted to convince me that my breakfast was not included. And during check in You need to sign a document saying you agree they are not responsible if someone steal from the room and you must use the safe but it is very small. Only team at the breakfast place was nice. But the breakfast itself was very poor

The rooms are okay but the bathrooms are unsafe. The room I stayed in had only a bath tub with a shower head fixed within the same enclosure. The bath tub was very slippery and no slip mat is provided. I had a nightly fall and injured my back very badly. Luckily it wasn’t worse. Not much choice for in room dining. The staff are polite and friendly.

Don’t get fooled by the façade of this hotel although the aesthetics are good this hotel should be on the bottom of anyone’s list by the la k of customer service. Last night at 11pm as was denied entrance by car to friends colony where the hotel is hence I had to leave the car and walk a good five minutes in the dark to reach the hotel. It took them over five minutes to produce the key to my room as the front desk was not ***aged, this morning I ordered some masala tea at 10:30 and it reached me at 11:20 when before accepting the tea they produced the card machine for me to pay no apologies given. Complete and utter shocked I politely declined the tea and charge as I was in my way out. I was carrying a bag and the front desk stopped me as they thought because I was carrying a bag that I was checking out when that was not the case, clear non existing knowledge of when customers coming or going even in such very small hotel. I will definitely don’t come back I stayed last April and already had issues with their spa however I thought to give them a second chance I should have known better. I cannot stressed enough that if you value customer care and essential amenities this is not the place you are looking for

Oh, my disappointment with this hotel has been my worst nightmare in hotel experiences. Despite the boutique hotel persona portrayed in the pictures, it truly fails to deliver. The staff here lacks proper training in hospitality, and it's evident they don't understand its importance in the hotel business. They behave more like employees at a budget motel rather than a high-end establishment. I was initially impressed by the rooms showcased in the images, so we booked a standard room, which turned out to be a huge mistake. These rooms haven't been renovated and look outdated, reminiscent of the 1990s, completely mismatched with the hotel's aesthetic. I wrongly assumed that the standard room would be similar to the other classes. Regarding other services, the AC vent emits a foul odor, making the room musty. There's no natural ventilation, only a small window overlooking a blocked wall, depriving the room of fresh air and natural light unless the artificial lights are on. The hotel is situated near a railway station, and every passing train shakes the room with a deafening rumble, making sleep impossible. Furthermore, despite living in the age of 5G, the hotel's Wi-Fi was non-functional. To make matters worse, our mobile network provider, Airtel, had poor service in the room, leaving us disconnected from the modern world and feeling like we were stuck in the '90s.

I was to have a meeting in delhi and have been avoiding it as I truly do not like that city. However, since I had to go myself, I was on a lookout for a place that is not a tower hotel! I came across this boutique luxury hotel called The ***or and felt it just perfect also it was just 16 mins away from Connaught Place, where my meeting was scheduled. The cobble paths for cars, 12 room property in a quiet neighbourhood of Friends Colony was more than I could have ever imagined, it was beyond bang on. It was everything I wanted it to be. I reached at dinner time and Camillo’s is where V and I had an Italian meal. The salmon linguine was one of the best I’ve had. Eating happily under some heat and in the outdoor garden with the slight Delhi chill in the air. Room 2 was nice and spacious with a little veranda, it was on the Ground floor,,this signature room was fine but the shower cubicle is too tiny and needs to be spacious! The next night after my meeting I ate at Inja, their Indian - Japanese restaurant on the property. It’s an experience like no other. I’m blown away and everyone I know in Delhi or travelling there should eat here! Taste, texture, guidance and flavours full of goodness made me a total fan of the food and the crazy yummm cocktails! I think I had 3! I cannot stop raving about this deliciousness called Inja! If someone says Delhi to me now, this will be my preferred place! The ***or is quaint, charming and is made for me. See you’ll in March 2024 for a longer stay! A special shout out to: Supradeep - the mixologist who took us through the cocktail adventure! Akashdeep- very helpful and attentive! With an addictive smile and laugh! Neeraj Sharma, see you soon you are such a gracious ***ager and handles everything at the restaurants immaculately! Thank you!

During my solo trip to New Delhi, I spent one peaceful night at a hotel nestled in a quiet, leafy suburb, providing a serene escape from the city's hustle. The staff's attentiveness was remarkable, extending from the front desk to the restaurant, making me feel valued and well-cared for. My room, although lacking natural light with a window facing another building, was comfortable and impeccably clean, featuring a bed that was a delight to sleep in. The dark room was ideal for uninterrupted sleep, which suited my itinerary as I mostly needed the room for resting. The hotel's restaurant food was good, making dining there pleasant. This hotel is an excellent choice for solo travelers seeking a quiet retreat with attentive service in New Delhi. I would happily recommend it to others traveling alone, looking for comfort and tranquility in the city. Staff at Carmelo by the name of Raju Singh was great. He explained all the options at the restaurant and provided good suggestions.

I have just stayed for one night. This little oasis is tucked away so hard to find but quiet compared to the rest of Delhi. Lovely grounds and decorated very well. Check in very smooth and the old fashioned way, on paper which was actually lovely. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but plenty. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend

The price that we paid for our room at The ***or did not come close to the quality that you would expect for that price. Our room was very dated, there was virtually no water pressure in the shower and it took over 10mins for the water to heat up, the hairdryer didn't work, there were no spare power points in the room for charging our devices and the wifi constantly cut out. On top of that, there were 2 small windows in the room that looked directly onto a common terrace so we had to keep the blinds drawn the whole time, leaving us trapped in a virtually windowless box. When we expressed our disappointment at the condition of our room, they sent the maintenance team to fix the shower which was deemed fixed once the water had heated up - the water pressure remained unchanged. And we were sent a portable wifi connection which also did not work. According to the hotel information printed in the room, the hotel has 14 newly renovated rooms. We were placed in room #16, which very clearly has not been renovated or even updated in some time. The photos of a "standard room" published on ******* absolutely do not match the quality of the room we were allocated. And given how much money we paid for our standard room, I am disgusted that this type of catfishing is allowed on this platform. I have stayed in ***y, ***y hotels in Delhi over the past 7 years, of varying quality, and this is by far one of the worst experiences I have had, that we even departed early and stayed elsewhere.
