This is a good hotel for a first stop, on a trip to India. Modern, clean, familiar to Western standards, international cuisine nearby. The Select Citywalk Mall has numerous shops (international brands), restaurants, bars, large outdoor market, flowers, and park. The hotel has a rooftop swimming pool, small gym. Service left much to be desired - it took 15 minutes to find my reservation at check-in and the desk clerk insisted he didn't have it - until he did and couldn't explain why he couldn't find it earlier. Then the porter who brought up my expensive luggage (Tumi) broke the handle and left the room, hastily, without saying a word to me. I discovered it as soon as he left. When I went to the front desk, they defended the porter and said it was just a mistake. To their credit, they took the luggage and got it repaired and returned it to me that evening. Still, a major inconvenience, having to unpack everything and then pack up for a departure the next day. There was an offensive smell in the hallway, once exiting the elevator to go to my room (maybe cleaning solution?). I had a large, corner room with large glass windows facing the mall courtyard. A huge bed with a tattered bedspread (on the lower part), good firmness to mattress. The room contained a fridge, microwave, hot water maker with instant coffee and tea, a safe. Lots of storage space (closets, drawers, shelves). Small bathroom with no washcloth or hand towel and rough bath towels. Nice breakfast buffet with lovely Indian dishes, as well as some Western.
