I stayed here 2 weeks ago for the first time. I insisted to see the room before making the booking and I was given a nice room. So I booked again for 2 more days this trip and the room was not that great. I requested the previous room but was told that it was taken. They promised to change the room the next day but did not do so. The air condition was bad on the first night and after I complained they send the technician to change the filter. So it was ok the second night. Overall an average stay this time around.

Considering the price, I think this is the only choice in this area. However, the room didn't have a window, so it felt a little dark.

The staff seemed least considered to smile or provide service with a happy face. The restaurant in the bar section was filled with loud live music during dinner. The rooms were smelling of cigarette smoke, in a room with no window ! The bed was comfy and toilet clean. The food was average standarded

Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Good business hotel at prime location for business travellers and for someone who need to catch flight during off hrs. Hotel needs some renovation especially they need to re-do their guest room washrooms as look & feel of this hotel is not at par for the kinds of rates hotel is charging. Scope of improvement is there for their Buffet breakfast. Also they need to have better solution for Wi-Fi. Tripti Bar & Restaurant of this hotel is one of the Good restaurants among the others around / near vicinity. Rooms have dummy windows. They have pasted a scenery on dummy window .. Room rent is little exorbitant for a room with no window / no view.

As soon as we entered the room we were greeted with a very disgusting smell of sewage coming from the window with the "beautiful" wiew of the front wall and pipes. We asked reception to change the room and they replied us, that the hotel was "fully packed" and they weren't able to change the room until the next day, without taking any other kind of action to help us. That's is disgusting. Room service and cleaning is ok. The driver was very helpful to bring us to the hotel from the airport . The rooms were fine but a little bit outdated. I hope this will be resolved ASAP for the future customers.

My wife and I just returned from a three-week birding trip across India. Hotel Shanti Palace was the worst place we stayed at. While the room was comfortable, the food was very bad and gave us concern about getting sick from it. The staff acted put out at the smallest request and hounded us about breakfast payment even though it was included in our group's contract. This was the one exception to the very friendly encounters we had with all Indians throughout our trip.

The hotel is much better than ***y others in Mahipalpur. The room was clean and quiet and the staff were helpful and polite. My single complaint is that soon after checking in, someone called the room and offered a full body massage to my father - there seemed to be other services implied in this offer. This is not appropriate but honestly I'd rather deal with that than the filth of some other Mahipalpur locations.

Worst place to stay and expensive. They don't tell you the exact checkout time nor will they notify you that they will charge extra money and the staff is also rude. I had checked in at 12am and I wasn't told that their timings are from 12pm to 12pm next day. They charged around 5k for 12hrs and another 3k for another 6 hours. Also the restaurant is expensive. Overall worst experience ever.
