Ever Green Guest House Travel & PG

Big mistake that I booked this hotel. I saw some positive reviews and booked this hotel but the place has the most negative vibes. The owner/receptionist did not have any courtesy for the guest. The rooms were substandard at best, the bathroom not clean, the wifi did not work and so much dust everywhere. We complained to the owner but he did not care and he shouted at us that " you can pay for your booking and leave if you do not like the place " in a very inappropriate way. I mean who says such things to a guest. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone.

This is not a good place and the owners are even worse. The owner was greedy for money and kept de***ding more money. The place was shabby and bathrooms were dirty, wifi did not work and the bedsheets looked like they have not been washed in eternity. Book this place if you are looking for the worst experience of your life. Also beware of the owner, he is a real **** and very disrespectful.

The overall experience wasn’t great! Despite coming across as a very nice ***, we quickly found out he was more interested in the money. He pre-warned us that sim cards in the airport were far more expensive than those in Delhi itself. We gave him our trust and later found out this was not true. SIM cards cost us 1700 rupees for a product that actually should cost 501 rupees. Moreover, he claimed when we arrived that there were no more of the rooms we booked available, so he had moved us into a ‘better’ room. We didn’t see this as unreasonable and were happy to accept, however he then charged us more for the room with no warning whatsoever. We were somewhat forced to make the payment as we arrived at 10pm and he said there were no other rooms available. The room itself was dirt, and definitely not worth the price. From our own experience of Delhi, they have a very good transport system and so I would advise anyone travelling to book a hotel outside the city centre for the same price, but much better quality. You can easily hop on the metro for 20-40 rupees (20-40p) and then you’ll know you are going back to a nice room at the end of the day. I will however admit that the food he provided for us was very tasty, although I have no doubt he probably increased the prices by a lot!

I stayed at Ever Green for just one night. If you’re a budget traveler, it’s just about the best price you’ll find in Delhi. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and there was a private bathroom with a shower. It’s located fairly close to the city center, with the New Delhi Railway Station only 900 meters away and main attractions such as the India Gate and Red Fort only 6km and 4km away respectively. The main help there, Noida, can answer any of your questions. As a bonus, he’s also fluent in Japanese.

I stayed in the guest house for two nights and I enjoyed my stay very much. Centrally located, just a 15min walk from main railway station and metro. Very helpful and friendly family run guest house. It's clean and rooms and beds are good. Vinod the ***ager can help you out with pretty much everything. So don't hesitate to ask him. I even got an upgrade and a delicious tea on arrival. Yes, next time I come to Delhi, Income back here.

Everything was good and specially the hospitality! Well described A home away from home! Very positive and nice mama and son! Thanks to owner again for everything me and mama will remember your support and all!

The place is really bad. The owner is even worse, treated the guests with so much disrespect, insults and threats. Even worse if you are a tourist. The owner tried to cheat us over money and even got physical. I would recommend everyone to pay a little more and look for a better place. Truly horrible experience.
