Holiday Inn Express NEW ORLEANS - ARTS DISTRICT by IHG

Room wasn't ready when check in. There are still people cleaning up. The hygiene problem in the room is horrible, there were cockroaches. Room change was not available instantly. Hotel manager did not resolve the situation in a timely manner, which wasted my time for making the refund contact myself.

Breakfast food is same everyday. Weak wifi weak tv signal

Great breakfast. Starts at 6.30am so come early because if you’re late, it gets crowded and no more food left. Room is clean, front desk is friendly. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided, so please bring your own. It’s in a good area, feel safe

I felt like it was a lot of miscommunication because a lot of times well two times I came out of the hotel and I had a boot on my car even though it was paid for gratefully the hotel paid for it to come off, but it was very aggravating

I booked two different room types during my stay one room with two double beds and another king bed that I paid extra for. Unfortunately, the king room ended up being a huge disappointment. The king room was extremely small, musty, and honestly barely had enough space to move around comfortably. It was located in the newer extension section of the hotel and did not offer the same level of comfort or quality as the other Holiday Inn rooms. Compared to the double queen room, it felt cramped, outdated, and much less clean. My advice to future guests: book the two double-bed room instead. It was noticeably bigger, cleaner, and overall a far better experience than the upgraded king room I paid extra for. The breakfast was definitely one of the highlights and was genuinely good. However, overall I feel like there are other hotels in New Orleans where spending just a little more would give you a much better stay experience than these Holiday Inn rooms.

Got a room at first where the AC was super loud and there wasn’t even a closet or a place to hang clothes. I told the front desk but they said the hotel was full and couldn’t do anything. So I contacted IHG directly and they helped me move to another room. The new one was much better — quiet AC and a proper closet. FYI: floors 9–10 have machine room in front the room X01 . The noise heard all the floor. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to avoid this hotel.
