Bienville House Hotel New Orleans

A little slice of New Orleans charm. The Bienville Hotel nails that boutique feel with its gorgeous high ceilings and character-filled interiors. The standout has to be the huge balcony, perfect for soaking up the buzz of the parades drifting past like a live soundtrack to your stay. Service-wise, the valet deserves a shoutout, especially the ever-smiling guy who made coming and going feel effortless and genuinely welcoming. If you want somewhere with personality, atmosphere, and a front-row seat to the city’s energy, this place delivers.

I stayed at the Bienville House many nights back in the 80s and 90s. I was hoping to experience the same sort of hospitality that I have in the past. I was very disappointed. The valet and the front desk were nonchalant and disinterested in making any sort of positive impression. The location is great but that's about all the nice things I can say about the BH these days. I will give them another try one day.

Staff was friendly and excellent. There is a tiki bar on the first floor which closes at 10. Great drinks and fun vibes. Fantastic location close to everything. Our room was comfortable and clean. We were on second floor. Pillows and quilt were so comfy! But…the walls are thin. Maybe because we were in one of the rooms that has an adjoining door but we could hear the family next to us and everyone walking along the hall. The room upstairs must’ve had flooring and the people staying there were moving around the furniture. Now, my husband and I were partaking in all the adult drinks but we were aware enough to hear all the goings ons. In summary: stay here if you plan on being on the top floor, are a great sleeper, will pass out after a night out, or have ear plugs.

Rooms we beautiful but our room was a little warm. Air was turned all the way down but didn't cool the room off. Only other complaint would be the ice machine on the second floor did not work so you had to go to a different floor to get ice.

This hotel had a unique charm to it. It suited all of our needs. Beds were very comfortable, atmosphere was perfect.
