Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Canal St. French Quarter Reviews

The hotel was at the quieter end of Canal Street but the trolleys were within walking distance and were easy to use. The service at the front desk was great, especially  Jake, who was very helpful. We needed the globes replaced in the bedside light and someone was at our room within minutes to take care of it. Breakfast was the only meal supplied at the venue and had hot and cold choices to suit all.we were out most days for lunch and there were plenty of eateries just up the street for an evening meal. 

My stay was great. Service was wonderful as well and the room was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

First off, the value for money is pretty good. New Orleans is very unique and a lot of fun. This hotel is very close to the French Quarter, completely walkable. Plus, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, so the stay was very comfortable. The front desk staff were also very friendly. Coffee and hot water are available all day, which is a huge plus! Breakfast is a standard American breakfast, and it's quite good too.

Good for what it is, close enough but not in the heart of things. Room was small but serviceable. Place was under construction when I stayed.

When arriving, our room had holes in the carpet, ripped bedding, the toilet didn’t work, and it smelled like ****. We made the front desk aware and they were very nice and accommodating. They moved us to a new room and it was great! Walking to the French quarter wasn’t too bad but a little further than I would have liked. Overall it was pretty good hotel. Not sure I would stay here again though.

our stay was amazing , we will be returning just not to the same room . the only thing i didn’t like was the fact that our tv was broke but we weren’t there to watch tv so it didn’t really bother me . the staff was very friendly and helpful

The hotel is cute, it’s just you get what you pay. The location is near Bourbon Street, so that’s a Bonus. I love the decoration from the room, but the hallways smells kinda weird. and the parking lot next to it is really safe (Tulane Parking). For a cute, cheap, and near location I will recommend it.

The location was excellent, with major tourist attractions like Bourbon Street and the French Quarter only a 10-minute walk away. I stayed for six nights and found it very convenient. The hotel facilities were average. There was no in-room safe, so I was a little concerned about security. Also, the hotel's description and the actual facilities and services were inconsistent. There was no laundry service as listed on the website, and breakfast was listed as starting at 6am, but actually started at 7am.

The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The view of the city view room is very good, and the beautiful night view can be seen. It is very close to the scenic spot and can be reached on foot. Every waiter has a very good attitude.
