A delightful place to stay We were delighted with our stay at The Ship Inn, right from the warm welcome to someone checking whether we'd left something behind. The building has lovely windows, with light and views coming in from all angles. The food was delicious, and we were particularly pleased to have a small bottle of real milk in our room.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was great. Accomodation was well planned and clean and tidy. Parking was really easy and suitable. Very good location close to beach giving plenty of opportunity to have walks. Safe area.

Enjoyable Weekend We had a 2 night stay in the Four Poster Room. The room was lovely and spacious with the bathroom upstairs. All the staff we came across were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were given the option to put any food and drink purchased at the bar and restaurant and pay for everything at the end of our stay. We will definitely stay again.

The Ship was very clean, my room was spotless. The only thing that could be improved was the bed, I think the mattress could have been better. I would recommend The Ship to friends.

Wonderful overnight stay We had a lovely stay to celebrate a birthday. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The breakfast the next morning was also great. Service was top notch throughout!

The room was beautiful and very clean but exceptionally hot even though a fan was provided. Felt the bathroom needed more shelving for storage. Also the wardrobe only had 2 hangers to hang clothes on which did not worry us as we were only staying a few days but would have been a problem if we were staying longer. Overall a very pleasant experience and lovely accommodation. The staff were all very friendly and helpful would recommend this accommodation

Overall a lovely stay in a nice big room Lovely big room, friendly staff, tasty meal and decent breakfast. Slight down points - the view was of a car park and disused building (but not much can be done about that) and the bed was wobbly and squeaky, with the mattress sloping on one side. The staff were quick to note this and said it would be sorted promptly. Overall, this didn’t detract from what was a lovely night in a pretty seaside village.
