Jiufen Old Street Seaview Homestay (next to the family mart, 1 min walk to the old street))

The location is good, but the entrance to the accommodation was hard to find and I had to contact the owner to get directions. Breakfast was a packed sandwich. The sea view from the second-floor room wasn't very clear. Overall, the owner was very attentive and took good care of us.

Everything was great, very good location near the bus stop, and there's a 24-hour market downstairs, which is very convenient.

The view from the room is absolutely beautiful! The host is also very kind. I'd give it a perfect 100/100, no deductions at all! 🥰 The scenery is truly stunning~

How to check in: I was a bit worried because there was no information, but it turned out to be surprisingly easy! 1. Download the LINE app in advance. 2. Find the black door next to the entrance of Family Mart in Jiufen. 3. Scan the QR code on the door to add them as a friend. 4. Call and say in English that you are next to Family Mart. 5. Wait a bit for the owner to arrive. 6. Listen to the kind owner's explanation! The location was great, right next to Family Mart, which was really convenient. However, my room had two windows facing each other, and from the window by the bed, I could see everyone on the observation deck next to Family Mart. So, I kept the curtains closed. Still, it didn't feel stuffy! Breakfast is a sandwich, and there's also a water dispenser. There are two air conditioners. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't unpleasant either.

The accommodation was easy to find; it was right off the road next to the supermarket. After arriving, I contacted the owner via LINE, and they came to let me in. Despite the hot weather, the room was cool, and I slept really well. It was a charming place to stay.
