Weilu B&B | Near Old Street, Solo-Traveler Friendly

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the soundproofing was a bit weak. Snacks were provided in the room, and there was water and a refrigerator in the lobby. The hotel is located within the old street, and you can park your scooter right in front. Breakfast was a NT$50 voucher for FamilyMart.

If it rains, you won't get the view shown in the pictures, but it's still beautiful. The room was good and cost less than 1,000 baht. The atmosphere was quiet. It's another charming city in Taiwan that's great for a relaxing stay.

The shower is a bit old, but the room and bedding are clean! I was happy that they provided a variety of snacks! The host was kind! Good value for money! And the cat was cute!

If you're traveling solo, the price is perfectly fine. It's a guesthouse-style accommodation with no staff on-site. At the entrance, there were three social media tools besides LINE. I used LINE to communicate and retrieve the key from a box to enter. Although I only speak Japanese, I used a translation app to send messages via LINE, and there were absolutely no issues with the communication. I stayed in room 201, which was spacious but didn't have a bathtub. The bathroom, which included the toilet, sink, and shower, was triangular, and I found the shower area quite cramped. I received a coupon for 50 NTD to use at the nearby FamilyMart for breakfast. Overall, there were no major problems, but I was surprised to see a mouse in the free kitchen area on the first floor. I didn't see any in my room, but it's something to be aware of if you're sensitive about that.

Though small, it has everything you need, which I really liked. The view from the balcony is also beautiful, and it's very close to the old street. The owner is really nice and always responds instantly to any questions.

The room was quite spacious and comfortable. 😁 Just a heads-up, there were no hangers provided. Also, every time I adjusted the AC to my desired temperature, it would gradually revert back to a very low temperature. (Maybe I just didn't know how to use the remote.) 😅

The facilities were generally well-maintained, and the view from the 3rd-floor terrace was especially nice. It was great to be able to take a leisurely stroll in Jiufen after staying there for a night.
