Not very recommended for the breakfast in their restaurant. The staff was so busy with something else and we were just got ignored for a long time. Food and environment were great, but I was so unsatisfied with the service in the restaurant.

Refinery is first of all a good location. It ’s convenient to go to Broadway to watch a show or to go to midtown. The nearby Bryant Park has my favorite breakfast shop. West 40th Street has good Spanish food. Michelin ’s chef ’s table is the highest in the world at West 39. Street ... you can understand so much. In fact, the room facilities are just like that. In contrast, I prefer their hotel public facilities and bathrooms. Their rooftop is a relatively popular restaurant with nice night views.

We just returned from a wonderful 6-night stay at The Ritz Carlton-NoMad. The hotel is a great addition to Nomad. It is centrally located near Madison Square Park, Union Square and the R line subway entrance is steps away from the entrance. The Executive Lounge is amazing! The food from Jose Andres Group was delicious with many options during their all-day service. The view from the windows cannot be beat. Every member of the Executive Lounge staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy and luxurious starting with David, the Executive Club Manager and the wonderful staff, Juan, Juan Carlos, Yolanda, Wendy, Brenda, Brendan & Shane. They made our stay very special. We booked the Manhattan Club Level Room on the 37th floor. It was spacious and modern, and the Ritz Carlton bed was very comfortable, as usual. The unobstructed view from our room was stunning with an enormous picture window overlooking the city towards Downtown. We have already made reservations for a return stay in December.

Amazing hotel in the best area , close to everything . Hotel itself clean , cute cozy. Room is very decent, we see the Empire State from our room , breakfast has hot and cold stuff and to go food if you want for a snack , I loved their coffee. People from reception, breakfast team, housekeeping are decent , helpful and working hard. They hv a cozy cute table downstairs for a drink or the 26th floor which is the top notch to see NY and direct to the Empire State. My only recommendation pls do a deep clean for the carpet in z rooms as we noted stains . I def recommended and will go there again and again

Great location in Midtown, just blocks from the Empire State Building, Macy's, and several dining and breakfast options. Easy walk to subway and even Times Square (20 minutes). Rooms are small, but clean and very comfortable. (We were impressed by how much storage space was available in the room.) Amenities are not fancy (small restaurant with limited options, small gym), but it's an excellent starting point for exploring the city. There was some noise bleed from neighboring rooms, but none from outside.

”Hip” and ”boutique” has become a metaphor for dirty and unclean. The ”hotel room” was bare bones, dirty, with previous guests used personal toys left behind end tables. The small kitchen was barely usable - no under cabinet lighting, no dishwasher, small fridge, coffee maker dirty and unclean, same for the broken toaster, no dishwashing soap for even the small amount of utensils and glassware. No effort was made to clean underneath the bed; the bed itself sagged. The room view is into tenement like housing (if I wanted a West Side Story experience, I would go to the theater rather than pay for this cheap ...calling it a hotel is a stretch). The balcony is a joke (at worse a hazard (make sure the balcony door is locked.) The corner space between the top mattress and boxspring was dirty, crumbs, dust, etc - clearly had not been vacuumed or cleaned since the Roosevelt administration. Wi-Fi is subpar. Another effort by a non-corporate hospitality company (or whoever owns this dump) to milk tourists who come to New York by renovating whatever this building used to be into a sub standard ”hotel” rooms and skating by on ”location.”

Must talk about it. Hotel location, service and hygiene, not to mention, anyway, generally pass. The breakfast was really good, things were basically the same every day, and I was tired for six days. By the way, breakfast is free to eat, no matter your room rate includes breakfast, just go down to the first floor to eat, no one cares, no breakfast coupons. What I want to say this time is that the hotel's checkout will not be refunded if you charge more! It was a very irresponsible and unreasonable hotel. Later, under the coordination of Ctrip, a part was returned, and Ctrip helped me to pay the rest. Thanks for Ctrip's support! The hotel received $ 162.76, but in the end it charged me $ 413.41, more than $ 250! The pre-authorization at check-in was only $ 187.76, and the front desk had no objection to the pre-authorization account at check-out. The remaining part was charged without my knowledge after leaving. What is the difference between stealing and stealing? And they are all received by mistake, and some fees are repeatedly collected. Later, with the help and coordination of Ctrip, the hotel promised to refund some of the fees that were repeatedly charged, and the overcharge of the front desk staff caused by their own mistakes was 125 dollars, and it was not refundable! Totally rogue behavior! In the end, Ctrip advanced the 125 US dollars equivalent to RMB and returned it to me. Thanks again for Ctrip's support! Once again, please pay attention to the hotel bill when you check out, including after leaving. Here's the thing. The reception staff at the front desk had a good attitude, enthusiasm and patience... The room was clean and quiet. After a week, it was very safe. All the fears I had expected before were superfluous... 20 US dollars per day security fee~ go to the international Metropolis New York will stay again. The Martinique was my first stop in New York. As a solo traveller I was comforted to find out that it was slap bang in the middle of all the attractions I had planned to see. I could walk to Times Square very easily and in the other direction to Chelsea. I probably wouldn’t get the breakfast if I stayed again (it was delicious especially the fruit and yoghurt). There was a charge at the desk when I arrived and I could have used this balance for a breakfast and other snacks instead of paying additional money for a breakfast included in the price of my room. Overall, a lovely place to stay. Great that there was a coffee shop in the foyer to set me up for a day of exploring!

This was the 1st time staying here and it did not disappoint. What a fabulous hotel. The entire staff was just the best. EVERYONE was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and quiet. Our beds were comfortable. Great shower pressure. Small refrigerater was appreciated. The free breakfast was outstanding..eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, waffles, pancakes, juices, milk, coffee. The location cannot be beat. When you walk out the door, Macys and Herald Square shopping are right there. Just a couple of doors down were pubs and restaurants. We went to shows in Times Square on Friday and Saturday and walked back. Took us about 10-15 minutes. An easy walk along 6th ave. WE ALWAYS FELT SAFE. Outside in front is a lovely courtyard with plenty of seating. I am a smoker (yes I know it's bad) and it was nice to go outside and have a place to sit down without intruding upon others. The only negatives (and they are small) would be the elevators are slow and it would have been nice to have a little more storage in the room rather than just the small closet and 3 drawers. We have always stayed tight in Times Square but this is now our go to NYC hotel. Thank you Hampton Inn for making our trip so enjoyable. We will be back!
