The first thing I will mention is that the hotel is 5 star and is expectedly, very expensive, being in the heart of Times Square. I took this into account when writing my review. If I am paying that much, my expectations would be higher than normal. I stayed for 12 nights over the Christmas and NY period so I obtained a very comprehensive view of the hotel and everything about it. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and the staff were always there to attend to any requests and issues. The moment I got out of my transfer car, there was a lovely young gentleman waiting to get all my bags and transport me upstairs to the reception. The check-in was reasonably flawless but there was a bit of confusion around the payment because of resort fees the hotel charges daily. I prepaid my booking and there was confusion over whether it included or excluded the resort fee. The reception area is immaculately presented and the bar and restaurant are both located here. I intended to use the gym during my stay, but didn't have time to even take a peek. Nor did I visit the bar or restaurant. There's way too many options outside to do that. The very polite and courteous young gentleman then took me up to my room. He showed me everything and away he went. I got a bit of a room upgrade which I highly appreciated and had a beautiful view of Times Square. I was on the 2nd highest floor, floor 39. The room is not big. It was adequate for one person but nothing more. I don't think I would be able to stay here if I was with another person. It would be too uncomfortable and I had to find space for my 2 suitcases and carry-on. The bathroom is open plan, with a door for the shower and toilet. A big problem I had in my room was that if it was windy you will hear a loud whistle coming through the bottom of the front door. It really annoyed me. I had to take the cover off the bed and make a snake shape to block the gap underneath the door to stop the noise. Even a bath towel didn't work. They need to fix this. The hotel is very new and the rooms are very beautifully equipped, presented and maintained. I was pleased to see that most of the things I requested before I arrived (some extra bath mats, bath towels, hand towels, face towels, mini fridge, bathroom scale) were mostly there upon arrival. I quantified the number of towels I needed as I was not getting any housekeeping during my 12 night stay but I did not get the quantity requested. I expected a bit more attention to detail for a 5 star hotel. Before I arrived I was asked if I was celebrating a special occasion and Guest Services pushed up my expectations as I was celebrating a special occassion and they said something nice, I assume maybe a cake or some alcohol would be waiting for me in the room. When I arrived there was nothing. And there was never going to be anything throughout my stay. I didn't mind and only remembered towards the end of the stay. Subway station close by. Door men were really helpful. Big thank you to Jimmy who was really helpful. Concierge was really helpful getting us great tickets to shows. Breakfast was ok. So basically we had to go down all the way to reception every time we wanted something at the room. From toiletries to food to water. Even the front desk as well as the duty manager simply expressed inability to do anything about it Initially even some of the lights in the room were not working. Clearly one of the worst stays of my life at a big brand hotel All in all a big disappointment

Stayed here with a family in October 2022. The room size is generous by Manhattan standards, and we were able to see the Chrysler Building from our window. The room and the hotel in general are clean and well-maintained. The reception staff was friendly and courteous, quickly resolving a few minor issues for us. The breakfast variety is good, although it may be a bit crowded a little later in the morning. The elevators are fast, although sometimes you may have to wait a bit for them to arrive. The location is great for your general NYC tourist destinations. Nothing negative to say about this place, if the price is right, you are not likely to regret your choice.

Amazing hotel in the best area , close to everything . Hotel itself clean , cute cozy. Room is very decent, we see the Empire State from our room , breakfast has hot and cold stuff and to go food if you want for a snack , I loved their coffee. People from reception, breakfast team, housekeeping are decent , helpful and working hard. They hv a cozy cute table downstairs for a drink or the 26th floor which is the top notch to see NY and direct to the Empire State. My only recommendation pls do a deep clean for the carpet in z rooms as we noted stains . I def recommended and will go there again and again

My check list for a hotel: Good mattress, good pillows. Check. Clean room with adequate space. Check. Small table, a desk space, a good-sized bed. Quiet. Definitely check and that shouldn't be taken for granted in NYC. Decent gym. Check. And no crazy glitches. Yep, plenty of elevators, good water pressure, the HVAC worked fine etc. etc. I thought the staff was friendly and proactive -- I requested coffee capsules -- they arrived quickly, a lot of them, and some water bottles just in case I was thirsty. I wish they would just put coffee machines in rooms instead of having to ask for one, but it's not very hard to ask. Bonus points: I showed up at noon expecting to have to check bags but a room was available so that made things nicer. Some others seem to be complaining about lack of room service but that was working when I was there.

This was our first trip to NY and I did a lot of research on where to stay. This hotel is the perfect location, the staff is friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to Times Square but far enough away from the crowds, noise and craziness. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone. There are some great restaurants within walking distance and the theatre district is about a 10 minute walk. Very convenient.
