Holiday Inn Express Hotels in New York

Clean hotel room and in the prime spot for pier 17 rooftop venue. I would highly recommend! The regular king room is a little small but great for just to sleep. Breakfast is also great!

The rented house has not been installed yet, so I live here for the time being. The location is very good and the service is good. During the epidemic, the policy is to clean the room every three days, but they can be asked to clean up the garbage. Breakfast is a bit perfunctory, and the variety is not very rich.

I chose this hotel for it's location, price, and the room photo showed a chair (which other hotels did not ). Check-in was easy and desk clerk was very helpful. The location is great; only two blocks from Times Square, and restaurants and theaters are nearby. Desk staff provided walking directions and restaurant suggestions. I observed breakfast staff really being helpful also. When I got to the room the AC was blasting cold air, the room was freezing and the thermostat didn't respond. I tried to call the desk, however I could hear them but they couldn't hear me. So down 28 floors to explain the situation. Staff quickly responded and reset the thermostat to fix the problem. The room was clean, however the bathroom vanity paint was peeling and the desk was scratched. The overall appearance was quite dated. I then noticed that there was no chair in the room. When I asked for one the desk staff said they didn't have any available. How can you have a desk but no chair? So sitting on the bed was the only option. The breakfast area was cramped, but not uncomfortable, and the food was basic eggs, sausage and breads, with some fruit (the hot sweet rolls were really good). Overall, not a bad experience. Kudos to the friendly and helpful staff. But this place really needs repairs and updating.

I enjoyed this hotel so much!! The staff is very nice and helpful with the exception of one man who brought me fresh towels he was very rude from the start which definitely caught me off guard, but other then that the bed was soft the sheets and blankets were great the shower had great hot water and water pressure the towels were nice plus the ice machine had pellet ice which was great also to top it all off the breakfast was amazing!! Both days there were different things and they were always hot and refilled constantly the food staff was very attentive and fast loved their hospitality!!!

Stayed in this IHG one night Sunday May 7th. Yes small bathrooms and small vanity but the breakfast and service was almost like a zombie apocalypse happened. We got down there way before breakfast ended and there was NOTHING left in terms of soemthing to drink. Name it, it was gone. No water, juice, milk. Oops the coffee machine to the left might have been working. My wife asked about it at front desk the lady cleaning up, but not really since all trash bins were overflowed, could not understand. I asked for a knife and finally when I acted it out did she get it. The frig, literally NOTHING IN IT. I have never seen that before at an IHG. No bagels, no muffins. When I got there there were 2 cinnamon rolls left, I got one of them. I took pics of the empty stuff, I took pics of the trash. This went off the rails when my wife asks for a muffin and tells of the situation and it's like come down sooner. Like what? No sorry? My wife was incensed. Then another lady, MUCH BETTER WITH hospitality skills, started passing out bottled water she got from storage for people. We got 2 of those. Yes there was PLENTY of eggs and sausage. That was literally it. I have never seen that before. Yes the bathroom vanity was small. The door kept opening even if you cracked it. The room was larger but built around the subway sound of the elevator shafts. The sound didn't bother us much but in am wow. Just a tough stay. The bed was nice. The room temp was easliy controlled. I am shocked at the disaster of the morning. Never seen that as Platinum member in almost 20 years of staying at IHG's. I feel I should write a letter to the hotel. The issue was just no way to fix anything. NO one was wow out of that, ok will get more. There was no one to really help anyone. I felt terrible for a set of parents with 2 kids. I was like not much around, try to get water. They had some sausage on a plate. There was a few slices of bread left as well. Stunningly bad. Happliy some guy came and braught my wife a frozen bagel we want to room and thawed with a hair-dryer. I took a pic of that too. We love IHG's over marriott but this was a fun on miss from what we saw at 910am on.

Must talk about it. Hotel location, service and hygiene, not to mention, anyway, generally pass. The breakfast was really good, things were basically the same every day, and I was tired for six days. By the way, breakfast is free to eat, no matter your room rate includes breakfast, just go down to the first floor to eat, no one cares, no breakfast coupons. What I want to say this time is that the hotel's checkout will not be refunded if you charge more! It was a very irresponsible and unreasonable hotel. Later, under the coordination of Ctrip, a part was returned, and Ctrip helped me to pay the rest. Thanks for Ctrip's support! The hotel received $ 162.76, but in the end it charged me $ 413.41, more than $ 250! The pre-authorization at check-in was only $ 187.76, and the front desk had no objection to the pre-authorization account at check-out. The remaining part was charged without my knowledge after leaving. What is the difference between stealing and stealing? And they are all received by mistake, and some fees are repeatedly collected. Later, with the help and coordination of Ctrip, the hotel promised to refund some of the fees that were repeatedly charged, and the overcharge of the front desk staff caused by their own mistakes was 125 dollars, and it was not refundable! Totally rogue behavior! In the end, Ctrip advanced the 125 US dollars equivalent to RMB and returned it to me. Thanks again for Ctrip's support! Once again, please pay attention to the hotel bill when you check out, including after leaving. Here's the thing. When I checked in, a man at the front desk (later known as Richard) told me that if the twin room was a total of $ 25, I changed the twin bed. Credit card pre-authorization at check-in

Male employee pours hot tea over His behavior was also drunk. We said it was hot and burning. He didn't believe it, saying it wasn't hot. He tried to use his mobile phone to take a picture of our legs. feeling lost feel very bad Went to inform the manager in the morning. I don't know what action to take or not.

I stayed here on the last night of trip because of the proximity to LGA airport for an early morning flight. Arrived around 7pm to an extremely full parking lot. Was able to squeeze into a non-designated spot. There were 4-5 guys just hanging out in the parking lot listening to music, as is they were in their own backyard. Odd, but, ok. Coming into the front lobby, it’s all dark except for the registration desk. Yet, there were a few people hanging out in the dark, where breakfast would normally be served. Get to my room, and immediately go use the toilet after a long day, which decides to keep running continuously, so I finally have to pop open the lid and wiggle the bobber around to make it stop. In the main bedroom, I discover there is no lamp fixture by the beds, only a gaping hole where one would normally be. The only light source in the entire room is a little desk lamp. Eventually settling into bed, there is all kinds of noises from the freeway, the tv next door, and people roaming the hallway. Earplugs are a necessity. This whole scenario feels like something out of a horror movie where you know something bad is going to happen. Wake up early & depart before 5 am out the rear entrance to the parking lot, where there are two shoeless guys again just hanging out on the steps. This hotel looks nice enough from the photos, but all the vagrants hanging out in and around the property do not make this a comfortable place to stay.

The hotel is located 2 blocks from the Air Train to JFK. Very convenient location. All necessary amenities are included in the room and everything was very clean. There are shops and restaurants located within walking distance of the hotel. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Jamaica.

The room is nice, the breakfast is very good, there is a slight subway noise, which I can accept. It is very convenient to take the subway line D to Manhattan. It is also close to Eighth Avenue. There are Chinese restaurants within a few steps. I will stay here next time. I booked it on Ctrip Regarding the room, Ctrip was also very responsible and arranged everything accordingly.
