Hotel condition was good. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the main street, but the conditions are good enough.

The room is old, there are big cockroaches in and out late at night; the carpet looks like it has been there for many years, and the room smells musty. The breakfast environment is okay, but there are few types and the taste is mediocre.
In short, it was a very bad experience, and I will not choose this hotel again in the future

The Kimberly was great! Super convenient to all things on the East side. Our room was HUGE with more than everything we needed. A 1-BR suite with a kitchenette, it offered so much more space than a typical NYC hotel, for a lower price than most comparable hotels. The beds were so comfortable, and for NYC, the room was quiet. Although the decor is rather dated, it is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Actually, I don't think I will stay anyplace else again.

One of the best hotel in manhattan, hands down! I stayed with two of my 3 yr old and 2 yr old and wifey, it was the best experience and spacious room you can ever get, excellent owner and staff, super friendly! Will always stay here when I visit New York.
I recommend this to people who appreciate quality stay when you leave your home’s comfort zone.

I loved my recent stay at the Kimberly. The service was uniformly helpful and friendly. The rooftop restaurant was nice for breakfast and lovely for a cocktail. My room was very large and comfortable. I only wish I could have stayed longer. It was an excellent location for attending the opera but would be great for Broadway as well.

The hotel was beautiful and historic looking which is something that I appreciate. It is very well maintained to keep the ambiance of the era being portrayed. My daughter and I loved it. We stayed in one of the double queen suites and it was beautiful and comfortable. I would definitely go back.
