M Social Hotel New York Downtown Reviews

Hotel is located in a different part of the city, so do not believe any confirmation address or address in the app. They didn't treat you seriously. I asked to be recalled with info, they should pay a taxi from the address they're providing for a real address. No sorry, no nothing. Additional strange charges at the check out.

Unstable WiFi Weak water pressure We made two separate bookings and asked them on the first day if we could keep the same room without checking out, and they said yes, but the hotel cards stopped working and we had to go to the reception and talk to them about it again. Instead of a direct line to a person, the Customer Services button on the hotel phone brings you to a virtual assistant. Our hairdryer broke and we called to get a new one but it wouldn’t understand our request. It said staff had been notified but no one brought us a new hairdryer. This hotel was changed the new owner and most of the rooms are renovated, amenities are simple but new. Very comfortable, good location in downtown, nice housekeeper. Hotel has No restaurants but because of prime location, we can go outside to eat very easily

The hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Manhatton overlooking One World Trade Centre and Ground Zero. We had a room on the 26th floor which offered fantastic views over the Hudson river. Rooms are functional, clean and attractive.

avoid like the plague. if you accidentally end up here, you have to physically complain to management to get any kind of service recovery: their customer service approach is to pass off and ignore as much as possible. you have to take it upon yourself. i would just avoid.

Everything ok

Official check-in was 4 pm check out 11am. Was told to check in at 8pm. Requested for connecting room, staff claimed that helped and blocked for us, but the next room was given to others. Staff lied, did not block it yet assigned different floors, and told us to take it or leave it. Platinum member price costs more than regular price and hotel website price. I paid a pricy and unpleasant experience stay.

The building is quite old but the room has everything I needed. Staff was helpful with my requests.

Worst experience, unfriendly, huge hidden charges out of contract, old, dirty, phone didn’t work,lifts didn’t work, bar was closed most of the times. It had nice views for all they are worthy when nothing else is in place. Stay away

This is a very bad trip！ the worse !! . First of all, the hotel facilities are very old. Secondly, such a big hotel lost consumer things. After losing consumer things, they didn't cooperate to find them. It was all kinds of delays! I was dragged until I had to leave because they knew that I had to catch a plane for the next trip. At the same time, hotel promised to call or email me to inform me of the progress. But they didn't. A 5-minute camera secret checking was watched for two hours. And didn’t check yet whether I was there or not. Such a big group training was done so badly. And the service attitude of “I’m just a person who working here ” i mean … whaaaa ? In this way to deal with customers. I’m really disappointed with this company!

This is my fifth time staying at this hotel. It's one of the best hotels in downtown New York. It faces the World Trade Center. Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Golden Bull are all within walking distance. The recently renovated rooms are modern and stylish, with comprehensive amenities. The lobby cafe is stylish, convenient, and cool. Downstairs is New York City's most convenient transportation hub, the subway and light rail, which connect in all directions.

The location is very good in the downtown area. The room is clean and tidy, the decoration is relatively new, the high-rise view is very good, the hotel facilities are few, the ice machine on the floor is broken, and you can watch NBA on the big screen in the square downstairs
