The Times Square EDITION

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Times Square. The front desk upgraded us to a room facing the square during check-in, which was a nice bonus! 👍 The room was quite small. It was difficult to open two large suitcases, making it feel more suitable for a solo traveler; it would be quite cramped for two people. Housekeeping was quick to respond when we requested water. The breakfast restaurant had a nice ambiance, and everything was à la carte. The food was decent. However, the hotel didn't inform us in advance that there was a credit limit for breakfast included in our stay, nor did they mention it at check-out. We never received an electronic bill either. We only found out about the charges when we saw them on our credit card statement later. This process is really unreliable; I almost thought the hotel was overcharging me! This issue brings my service rating down from what would have been a 4.5 to a 3.5. Thankfully, Trip.com customer service was very helpful. We only learned the full story through their communication, and they eventually resolved everything perfectly. I want to specifically commend them for that! 👍

The hotel's location is excellent, and the doorman service was outstanding, definitely deserving a bigger tip. My main dissatisfaction was that the room didn't match the photos; there was no city view, just a dense array of other guest rooms directly across, clearly visible.

Extremely satisfied! Clean and bright. Although the room is not large, the layout is sensible and comfortable, with plenty of storage space.

The hotel's public areas are lovely, but the room is too small. The location is convenient, close to the subway, but it's hard to catch a taxi.

This was by far the most frustrating hotel experience of our entire trip to the US. The online reviews calling it 'Times Square's Motel 6' were absolutely spot on. The 'city view double room' as pictured online was misleading; when I called, I was told all double rooms have this 'city skyline' view. We paid an average of over 4000 for two nights, and this is the quality we got. To make matters worse, after sleeping there for two nights, my child was covered in bed bug bites.

The room was really small; we had to shuffle things around just to open two large suitcases. Aside from the great location, the hotel also provided complimentary MoMA tickets and a discount at the hotel restaurant. We even received a free room upgrade.

This hotel pretty much has the typical drawbacks of a city-center hotel: tiny rooms and exorbitant prices. Honestly, the value for money is extremely low. Another issue I encountered was this: the hotel agreed to help me contact a courier service to send a local parcel. I paid about 98 USD in person, left my phone number, address, and the sender's email, and they promised next-day delivery (I didn't have high expectations, understanding they weren't like SF Express). However, after four days, the item still hadn't arrived, and I received an email saying the parcel was returned to the hotel, with two charges deducted from my account. Absolutely ridiculous!

The room was tiny, I couldn't even open my 28-inch suitcase, but the location was great, right next to Times Square. Housekeeping was very diligent, and the doorman had excellent service, though the front desk staff was just okay.

Every time I visit New York, I stay here. The location is excellent, close to many attractions. The hotel ambiance is lovely and refined, and the breakfast is delicious. I especially love the Le Labo toiletries.
