Best thing about this hotel is the location. Close to Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, 16min walk to Central Park. I also greatly appreciate that we were checked in earlier esp after coming from quite a long trip. We liked the complimentary coffee in the morning at L1. Cleanliness is questionable. I saw some used tissue def not from us behind the table under the TV. The complimentary soap, conditioner, lotion were close to empty and not being refilled. The security personnel were totally useless. Of note, the indian one was always in his phone. No greeting or helping open the door when you're hands are full. Not even a smile... also we were asked for 225$ refundable deposit and 68$ for facility fees. The facility fees seem to be unjustified as they do not have much amenities to start with. Also they are already charging a premium price for a not well maintained facility

I really enjoy staying at The Belvedere. However, this past weekend, there was a mustiness in my room that never went away. I would suggest that the carpeting in Room 1723 be cleaned. Although, I bring my own toiletries, there was no lotion in the dispenser in the bathroom. I suspect that it might have been because I was on the 17th floor, and therefore, the room hadn't been occupied for some time. Also, in the refrigerator, there was a food item in the back that had frozen, which indicates that the refrigerator had not been checked or cleaned.
Overall, The Belvedere is a good stay and reasonably priced (depending on the time of stay). I appreciate the attentiveness of the doormen and the maintenance staff.

Hotel made beds but left dirt on floor in bathroom and bedroom. Hotel is fine for a nights sleep but not modern. No coffee maker in room. Some pillows are flat and should be tossed out. I thing stood out. The hotel offers discount parking but reneged on it until you call management and demand. Parking is way far from hotel.

Our room was perfect for the one night we were in town before heading out on cruise the next day. It was really spacious in comparison to another NYC hotel that I stayed in. The beds were comfortable, the room but the bathroom was a little dated.The hotel is within easy walking distance of Times Square and the hustle and bustle associated with the area.if I have any complaints it's that the elevator was small and slow but however i would return in the future.

Everyone knows that NYC hotel rooms are tiny, but not at the Belvedere. I was surprised how spacious the room was. Close to Time's Square, but not too close, close to theaters, and in the heart of Hell's Kitchen's *** bars and restaurants. I'd highly recommend and will stay here again
