Luma Hotel Times Square Reviews

My philosophy has always been to only worry about and do things I have control over. I made a bad choice when I meticulously planned my New York stay: neither this neighborhood nor this hotel should have been picked. There are much nicer areas nearby, and this hotel is basically just a repurposed building that, frankly, shouldn't even be a hotel. No proper lobby, not enough elevators, insufficient public spaces – the list goes on. This hotel should be removed from Trip.com's curated lists like 'luxury,' 'premium,' or 'best food.' I'm not blaming anyone, it was my decision, and I won't be staying here again. Apologies for being blunt and harsh, but I'm ready to back up every one of my statements.

The facilities were excellent. Everything was very clean, and the service was great. It was also close to the subway stations, with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Very convenient.

The hygiene was top-notch; the sheets were changed daily. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

The room was smaller than I expected, but the bathroom was a good size. Overall, the attention to detail was great, like the Dyson hairdryer and the Luma chocolate.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I booked a Park Plaza View King Room for 6 nights and 7 days. They provided the essentials like slippers, bottled water, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, bar soap, and instant coffee. I was able to comfortably spread out two large suitcases in the room. The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower was very weak. However, the location is absolutely fantastic, which was incredibly convenient, especially when I needed to use the restroom. Plus, all the staff members were very friendly and kind. I highly recommend this hotel.

A fantastic hotel. From the front desk staff to the doormen, and even the housekeeping staff. The location is also excellent. And the rooms are very spacious; for Manhattan, this room size is exceptionally comfortable.

I requested a quiet room, not a corner room, and a higher floor when checking in, which was met. However, the hotel water was incredibly murky! I developed a lot of rashes, and the water stung my skin. Showering was just too uncomfortable because of the murky water. The staff were very nice, greeting me every morning. I left $2-3 for housekeeping each day. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'm grateful to them.

The location is excellent. The room is small, and the window faces only a wall with no view. The doorman, front desk staff, and restaurant staff are friendly. Room cleaning is not prompt, and water and tea bags are not replenished, but toiletries are provided. Slippers are provided in the room, and the hairdryer is a Dyson. Overall, it's a rather upscale hotel, suitable for travelers who mainly explore during the day and only return at night to rest and sleep.

Good location, near Temporary Plaza, room size is acceptable.

7000 a night is not worth it. The room is so small that you can't turn around!

The room is relatively large, the facilities are relatively new, and the hygiene is clean. It is a very good experience

The biggest advantage is that it is spacious. In this location in the city center, the room can still open six 28-inch boxes on the ground. However, the facilities are relatively average. There is no central control panel for the lights and they must be turned on and off one by one. Even if you spend more money to buy a more expensive room type, there is no view outside the window. There are only two hot dishes for breakfast, and the others are mainly various breads and pastries. The hot water in the faucet is very turbid and the hot water pressure in the bathroom is relatively low. So the overall experience is average, four-star level. Only the room layout, service and location are good. If you only care about these, then this hotel is suitable.

The service attitude is very good, the room is big enough and very clean. The design is new and the equipment is modern. The parking lot is not far away, and you can also valet the car. But the lighting in the room is not good enough, and the sound insulation effect is not enough.

I went there for my honeymoon and the location was amazing!! Bryant Park was less than a 5-minute walk away and there was a supermarket just a 3-minute walk away, so it was really great. The staff always opened the door with a smile and the front desk staff smiled and greeted me, which was really nice. I was very satisfied and had a happy time because the room allowed me to open three large suitcases, which is rare in New York. Thank you^^
