We just returned from a wonderful 6-night stay at The Ritz Carlton-NoMad. The hotel is a great addition to Nomad. It is centrally located near Madison Square Park, Union Square and the R line subway entrance is steps away from the entrance. The Executive Lounge is amazing! The food from Jose Andres Group was delicious with many options during their all-day service. The view from the windows cannot be beat. Every member of the Executive Lounge staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy and luxurious starting with David, the Executive Club Manager and the wonderful staff, Juan, Juan Carlos, Yolanda, Wendy, Brenda, Brendan & Shane. They made our stay very special. We booked the Manhattan Club Level Room on the 37th floor. It was spacious and modern, and the Ritz Carlton bed was very comfortable, as usual. The unobstructed view from our room was stunning with an enormous picture window overlooking the city towards Downtown. We have already made reservations for a return stay in December.

Set Loft Suit for three nights, very amazing! The location is excellent (the first shake shack in the park downstairs), and good restaurants nearby can walk. The room type is square and the electrical facilities are complete. The lobby checkin is waiting for drinks, and the elevator diversion is very user-friendly (because I don't like sharing elevators with strangers). The bedding and bathrobe texture are so comfortable! On the 25th floor, you can see the Empire State Building directly on one side of the window on both sides, and the sunset view of the skyline on the other side. room service is also great, the only downside is that the phone answering is slower (basically it takes three times to answer). We checked out at 5 am and the waiters were enthusiastic to help us take our luggage to the car. Very comfortable experience, the overall feeling is much better than the Times Square tour in all aspects, has booked a room for the next few days, still live here.

Great location in Midtown, just blocks from the Empire State Building, Macy's, and several dining and breakfast options. Easy walk to subway and even Times Square (20 minutes). Rooms are small, but clean and very comfortable. (We were impressed by how much storage space was available in the room.) Amenities are not fancy (small restaurant with limited options, small gym), but it's an excellent starting point for exploring the city. There was some noise bleed from neighboring rooms, but none from outside.

”Hip” and ”boutique” has become a metaphor for dirty and unclean. The ”hotel room” was bare bones, dirty, with previous guests used personal toys left behind end tables. The small kitchen was barely usable - no under cabinet lighting, no dishwasher, small fridge, coffee maker dirty and unclean, same for the broken toaster, no dishwashing soap for even the small amount of utensils and glassware. No effort was made to clean underneath the bed; the bed itself sagged. The room view is into tenement like housing (if I wanted a West Side Story experience, I would go to the theater rather than pay for this cheap ...calling it a hotel is a stretch). The balcony is a joke (at worse a hazard (make sure the balcony door is locked.) The corner space between the top mattress and boxspring was dirty, crumbs, dust, etc - clearly had not been vacuumed or cleaned since the Roosevelt administration. Wi-Fi is subpar. Another effort by a non-corporate hospitality company (or whoever owns this dump) to milk tourists who come to New York by renovating whatever this building used to be into a sub standard ”hotel” rooms and skating by on ”location.”

The reception staff at the front desk had a good attitude, enthusiasm and patience... The room was clean and quiet. After a week, it was very safe. All the fears I had expected before were superfluous... 20 US dollars per day security fee~ go to the international Metropolis New York will stay again. Amazing hotel in the best area , close to everything . Hotel itself clean , cute cozy. Room is very decent, we see the Empire State from our room , breakfast has hot and cold stuff and to go food if you want for a snack , I loved their coffee. People from reception, breakfast team, housekeeping are decent , helpful and working hard. They hv a cozy cute table downstairs for a drink or the 26th floor which is the top notch to see NY and direct to the Empire State. My only recommendation pls do a deep clean for the carpet in z rooms as we noted stains . I def recommended and will go there again and again

Must talk about it. Hotel location, service and hygiene, not to mention, anyway, generally pass. The breakfast was really good, things were basically the same every day, and I was tired for six days. By the way, breakfast is free to eat, no matter your room rate includes breakfast, just go down to the first floor to eat, no one cares, no breakfast coupons. What I want to say this time is that the hotel's checkout will not be refunded if you charge more! It was a very irresponsible and unreasonable hotel. Later, under the coordination of Ctrip, a part was returned, and Ctrip helped me to pay the rest. Thanks for Ctrip's support! The hotel received $ 162.76, but in the end it charged me $ 413.41, more than $ 250! The pre-authorization at check-in was only $ 187.76, and the front desk had no objection to the pre-authorization account at check-out. The remaining part was charged without my knowledge after leaving. What is the difference between stealing and stealing? And they are all received by mistake, and some fees are repeatedly collected. Later, with the help and coordination of Ctrip, the hotel promised to refund some of the fees that were repeatedly charged, and the overcharge of the front desk staff caused by their own mistakes was 125 dollars, and it was not refundable! Stayed here one night with my family and was extremely happy with the service, the room, and the location. We were on the 23rd floor in a double suite and the room was perfect, roomy and the view was spectacular. Room had a small kitchenette which was perfect to keep snacks and beverages in a full fridge. Keurig and coffee and tea provided as well. Starbucks conveniently located on corner.

Superb, there is Manhattan's best coffee shop downstairs. The hotel lobby is full of people from morning to night, very popular hotel. The clerk is very fashionable. The room is not recommended to choose mini, slightly smaller. Small above is very ok. Toiletries are also very good. There is also a favorite le labo next door. Just between the 5th and 6th Avenues, the location is excellent. Outside the window can also face the Empire State Building. Baton!

In downtown Manhattan, the location is quite good. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the subway station. The New York subway can go anywhere. Of course, it is better to call Uber at the airport. Excellent staff, very helpful the entire stay (reception, facilities service, house keeping, with a special shout-out to Khaoula). Perfect location, in a great neighborhood, with easy subway excess and great food options all around. Great rooms, we had the quietest stay with best sleep here in NY (compared to 5 other hotels during our trip). After checkout, the staff continued to be just perfect hosts, storing luggage until the end of the day and allowing us to freshen up, have a coffee and wait for our taxi (arranged by hotel). Thank you.

Normally I am not a complaining type, but this is a bit much!! I am a platinum member of Choice Hotels. I booked a room using my points at the Paul NYC checking on 1 Feb 2023 for 1 night before I arrived very late and on 2 Feb I will go upstate to visit my dear friend! I was travelling from BKK to NYC and during my layover, my flight to NYC got delayed from arriving JFK at 11:50pm of 1 Feb to 02:30am of 2 Feb instead. I called the hotel during my layover right away to inform them about my late arrival. Everything seemed ok and the hotel person confirmed me the reservation. When I got to hotel at 4:30am, the front desk told me my booking was canceled because the hotel had other activities booked. They moved all paid guests to the hotel nearby and it has been going on like this already for 1 week. Since I booked using points, they just canceled it without further explanations or any assistance on my booking. It was -4c outside...lol I asked if they can check me in at the other choices hotel near by, I just need to rest for few hours. The hotel people didnt even bother to call customer service to check. I called the customer service. The lady at the end of the line was very helpful but it took so long to find the answer. They want to move me to Brooklyn (I paid for the taxi myself) and I have to pay early check-in on top....blah..blah. Another hour passed (almost 6am) so I asked the front desk at Paul if I can leave my luggage for few hours and using the toilet and the answer was no. It is 6:30am and I found an excellent luggage service via Bounce nearby. I drop my luggage at the Premier Best Western hotel (Bounce) and use the toilet. Their service was flawless!!! I went right to work at Starbucks after my 24-hour flight and got a lot of things done instead of sleeping at the unfriendly hotel! It is ashamed that Choice Hotels advertise so much about their privileges program and this is the way they treat the customers. This is not the problem about spending money, but it is the business principle how they should run the business.
