Westin Hotels in New York

The room was very average, with old and outdated facilities. The towels were so stiff they could stand upright, and I have pictures to prove it. The security was very high. The hotel didn't offer breakfast, which was very disappointing. There was an older lady from Shanghai at the front desk who was very nice and made me feel very welcome! The bedside lamp in the room was broken and kept flickering, making it unusable!

This hotel is quite good. Although it is in Jersey City, it is not far from the center of New York. It is just across the tunnel and across the river! However, there are some traffic jams in the tunnel during morning and evening rush hours, so be prepared!

This hotel is conveniently located near LaGuardia Airport. After landing, you can contact the hotel to arrange a pick-up service; it's a good idea to have a few dollars in cash ready for the driver's tip. The hotel is situated in Flushing, an area known for its safety and lively atmosphere in the evenings. You can find all sorts of Asian cuisine nearby, including Chinese food. It's also not far from Flushing-Main Street, the terminal station for the 7 train, making it less than an hour's commute to both Midtown Manhattan and JFK Airport. The room was cozy and comfortable, living up to Westin's reputation. There's a sauna available until 9 PM, and a combined restaurant and bar where you can charge up to $150 to your room, which will then be deducted from your hotel deposit. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience!
