"Location: The hotel's location is superb, very close to West Lake Scenic Area, within walking distance. It's also near Wulin Night Market, perfect for an evening stroll. Shopping and dining options are plentiful around the hotel. Room: The decor is elegant, and the room is clean and tidy. Service: The hotel service was exceptional. For example, before we even arrived, the heating was turned on, so the room was wonderfully warm when we got there. The front desk also prepared hot tea, which was much appreciated after our journey – it felt great to have a hot drink right upon arrival. Throughout our stay, no matter what issues we encountered, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive in helping us resolve them. Breakfast: Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, the food tasted excellent, with both Chinese and Western options available. It was quite good."

"Overall, the experience was fantastic. The room was quite spacious and exceptionally clean and bright, making me feel very comfortable the moment I walked in! The hotel's location is super convenient, close to the Intime and Gonglian commercial areas, and also the Wulin Night Market, all within about a 10-minute walk. It's also very near West Lake Scenic Area; you can get to the lakeside in about 5 minutes by just walking straight down one main road, which was perfect for catching the sunrise over West Lake in the morning! The front desk staff were all incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful, always responding immediately to any requests I had."

"Traveling with family, the smart home facilities were very convenient. I suggest upgrading the sofa to a higher quality one, as it wobbles and moves when you sit on it, which doesn't feel up to a four-star standard. Also, the anti-slip grooves in the shower floor were a bit uncomfortable on the feet. It would be even better if there was a more prominent lobby and a clear sign at the entrance. The staff were enthusiastic and professional. For the elevator control, it should prioritize recognizing room cards. I recommend adding floor spotlights at the dedicated elevator entrance to prevent delivery personnel from mistakenly pressing the 3rd-floor button."

"The service was great, and I loved the hotel's style. My room was on a high floor and fully equipped. The front desk service, in particular, was fantastic—so thoughtful and check-in was super fast. The room was clean and tidy, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the bed was huge. The bathroom was clean and the shower was comfortable. Parking was very convenient, and it was great to have a laundry room with a dryer."

"I came to Hangzhou for a pilgrimage, so staying near Lingyin Temple was a must. Besides Lingyin Temple, another key attraction here is the Hangzhou Botanical Garden. All the hotels and guesthouses in the area are set up around these. Mercure Hotel is a French-style hotel. The decor is very French-inspired 👍🏻 and the furnishings inside are also exquisitely French 👍🏻. This is also a newly opened hotel; there aren't even any reviews on the 'review platforms' yet... The front desk service was very enthusiastic and gave us a room on a high floor 👍🏻. The in-room facilities are also quite modern and chic 👍🏻. I didn't book breakfast, so I'm not sure if it's any good here... Traffic around Lingyin Temple is controlled, but they can arrange a car to take you near the temple gate for an additional fee."

"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The front desk offers free luggage storage, and the service is efficient. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and even provided complimentary luggage bags. Although the room type I booked didn't have a window, it didn't feel stuffy at all, as every room is equipped with a fresh air system. Laundry facilities are great too, with both a dryer and a washing machine available. Thumbs up!"

"The front desk service was really nice; they proactively asked if I wanted water. I didn't bring my charging cable and asked the front desk to borrow one, and they lent it to me without a second thought. The front desk service was truly excellent. However, the cleaning staff's timing wasn't ideal for me; I was woken up by a knock on the door while I was sleeping. Also, the moment I entered the room, the shower floor was wet, which didn't leave a very good impression. Late-night congee: Fantastic, delicious."

"Hotel is newly built, interior is very nicely designed and the staff here are very friendly and nice :) Bed and pillows are very very comfortable; my parents have pre-existing backache issues and the bed is extremely comfortable. Pillows offered have soft and hard; the hard one is very good for people with backache. Room is by the main road, so it gets noisy at night if the windows are open - but 3M earplugs are provided. There’s a lot of food nearby, and within 10-15 minutes walk there’s independent cafes with goooood coffee! Huge plus for us. They have robot service for food / parcel delivery up your room!!"
