"We took our parents, both over 80 years old, to Xishuangbanna for a ten-night trip, starting January 2nd. We stayed in rooms 1022 and 1008. Initially, we were hesitant about the newly renovated hotel, thinking we'd give it a try and not stay if there was any unpleasant smell. However, Manager Chen personally showed us the rooms, and our parents were very satisfied, so we decided to stay. The comfortable and bright rooms, the warm and attentive service, and the meticulous cleaning made our three-generation family experience in Xishuangbanna a different kind of joy than a typical vacation. Our parents, being elderly, were extremely satisfied with their stay. Even on our return journey, they reminded me to especially thank the following staff: Manager Chen, Ms. Zhang (born in 1991) at the front desk, Mr. Guo (a local Xishuangbanna staff member) at the front desk, and Ms. Chen (room attendant). "The springs on one of the beds in the room I booked seemed to be broken; it sagged as soon as I sat on it. I suggest the owner replace the mattress. The location is convenient, right inside Gaoguang. However, many hotels within Gaoguang Xishuangjing also have swimming pools. While this room had a balcony, and sitting there enjoying the night view was quite nice, the iron railings on the balcony window were a bit rusty, indicating the property's age. Additionally, one of the chairs was also broken. The hotel offers complimentary pick-up but no drop-off service. They partner with a private car team, and I suspect their strategy is to provide a good initial impression with the pick-up, then push you to book their car services for sightseeing, making a profit from the commission. They quoted me 400 RMB for a day's car charter, which I found a bit pricey, so I ended up hiring a car locally for the day instead. For future visitors, if you're planning to spend about three days in Banna, I highly recommend renting a car through a reputable platform for greater convenience. These comments are based purely on my genuine experience and are not intended as malicious criticism. Here are a few suggestions: If you offer pick-up, why not drop-off? Even if you slightly raise the room rate to give the car team a commission, it wouldn't be a big deal. This 'pick-up only' policy gives guests the impression that once they've stayed and are ready to leave, their needs are no longer your concern, suggesting you're only interested in one-time business. In this era of online transparency, any attempts at 'tricks' or 'schemes' will ultimately lead to being phased out by the market. Only by treating customers with genuine sincerity can you retain them and ensure long-term business. I also hope Banna's tourism and culture department will address the current transport situation, establishing dedicated tourist routes to all attractions, much like what's available in Xinjiang."

"The first time I stayed at Atour Hotel, I paid 99 yuan to become a gold. quarterly member when I checked in. I stayed in a superior king-size bed room for 2 nights. The experience is as follows. The complaints include: 1. On the first night of stay, the shower room began to accumulate water after the first person took a shower for about 5 minutes. The waiter dealt with it and said it was ok. When the second person took a shower, water accumulated again. The waiter came to deal with it for the second time. After the two treatments, the waiter only apologized verbally and did not propose any compensation measures. 2. I am 1.6 meters tall. When I lie on the pillow and stretch my legs normally, my feet can reach the edge of the bed. This is really outrageous. The bed length of the superior king-size bed room is obviously not enough. 3. I was bitten by a mosquito bite while reading in the lobby on the first floor. 4. When I sleep at night, I can clearly hear the footsteps of other guests in the corridor and the sound of the guests next door opening and closing the door. 5. When I took out the white spoon in the breakfast noodle area, I found that it was not cleaned and there were brown stains the size of soybeans. 6. I told the front desk that I didn't need to clean the room at 9 o'clock in the morning. When I came back at night, the bed was already made and the trash can was emptied. The cleaning lady who happened to be in the corridor said that no one told her that I didn't need to clean. Although personal belongings were not moved, such internal communication problems should be avoided. Yaduo also has many advantages, and the following are impressive: 1. The hotel provides free pick-up service from the train station to the hotel. 2. The free book bar in the lobby is spacious and comfortable, providing free fruit drinks and paper towels, the music and fragrance are just right, and there is also a small private room rest area with more private space, which is also free. 3. The hardware facilities of the overall space of the hotel are good, the soft decoration design reflects the sense of luxury, and the furniture is generally wrapped in leather. 4. The room is smart: the smart toilet flushes automatically, the TV homepage will prompt how many washing machines and dryers are idle and the waiting time, and the smart button panel includes various modes of lighting and electric curtains. 5. There are rich breakfast varieties, and the restaurant provides free take-away boxes for families with children. 6. The front desk gave souvenirs when leaving the hotel: tea bags, coffee bags and several small toys."
