"Good service from the front desk and very accommodating staff. However, the hotel is opposite ”Sound Club” which woke us up at 2:29 am with a loud beat and bass. This went on until about 6:00 am and made it very difficult to sleep. Note therefore that one side of the hotel faces Sound Club and even with good sound insulation from the windows the music is loud. Be sure to get a room that is not on the same street as the club. Room facilities are OK with everything needed for a tourist."

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Khalkedon Suites during our trip to Istanbul and loved the place. First of all, the location is really good. It is in the Kadıköy district, with convenient transportation around. It is just a few steps to the bus or subway station, and it is also convenient to take the ferry to the European district. We usually go to tourist attractions easily, just take the subway or ferry. There are many places worth visiting nearby, such as: • The Moda district has a very literary atmosphere, with many cafes, bookstores and seaside trails. We go there almost every day. • Kadikoy Market has many authentic restaurants, snack bars and fruit and vegetable stalls. It is full of life and it is very pleasant to eat and stroll around. • If you take a boat from the pier to the European area, it is also very convenient to go to places like Sultanahmet Square (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace), and the boat ride takes about 20 minutes. The hotel is newly renovated, the overall style is very warm, and it feels very comfortable to live in. What satisfied us most was that there was a kitchen in the room, so we could cook something ourselves, which was very practical for couples like us who occasionally didn't want to go out for dinner. The overall facilities are very new and convenient to use. The service staff was very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, which made us feel at ease. The entire stay was a smooth experience. Overall, it was a great stay, perfect for couples or people who want a quiet, convenient, ”home” place. If we come to Istanbul again in the future, we will definitely choose here again!"

"Hello! ✌🏽 (Only photo on my check-out, sorry) In my opinion, this is the perfect place for your start trip in Istanbul! Very clean hotel and rooms, pleasant smell, clean linen, towels, slippers, soap accessories! The administrators and the owner of the hotel are VERY VERY kind people! They will help you with any question. Excellent location of the hotel, a quiet alley, at the same time a 5-minute walk to Taksim Square and the main street of Istiklal. The subway is also 5 minutes away. Bus stop in 5 minutes. Cafes, restaurants and everything you need is right here! Super delicious Doner on the corner. Right next to the entrance to the hotel there are local shops with inexpensive products, household chemicals and even umbrellas in case of rainy weather. I’m very glad that I chose this place! ❤️"

"My stay at Hotel Taksimblue was absolutely perfect and offered incredible value for money. The first thing that struck me was the exceptional level of cleanliness. The entire hotel, from the room to the common areas, was spotless and maintained to a very high standard. It was one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced. The service was equally impressive. All the staff, from the servers to the management, were attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. The manager was often visible and actively ensuring guests were happy, which was a very nice touch. The location is a major plus. It's an easy and short walk to Taksim Square, giving you great access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. A quick note on the neighborhood: the immediate area is authentic and lively, not a tourist bubble. Some might find its rustic charm a little surprising at first glance, but I never felt unsafe at any time of day or night. It feels like the real Istanbul. Highly recommended for travelers who prioritize cleanliness, excellent service, and a great location over being in a polished, modern district. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Pros: Amazing cleanliness, Friendly staff, Great value, Good location. Cons:The surrounding street might feel a bit gritty to some, but it is safe."

"A nice new hotel with a chic design. Decent breakfast and a terrace. Cons: they put you on the ground floor, which feels like sitting in an aquarium; you can't open the curtains. But it's quiet. Also, the smoke detector is too bright and flickers, illuminating the entire room. And it's quite cramped. The service was friendly, on the one hand, but I had to ask for an extra blanket twice. The second time they brought it—no duvet cover—with hair all over it. Okay, it was an okay evening, but the next day, the maid didn't make it up either. Overall, a B+. They also provide umbrellas for rainy days, and the coffee and cookies are great."

"This is my first time writing a hotel review! This hotel absolutely deserves a good review! The cleanliness is excellent, and the windows are soundproofed. Taksim Square and Istiklal Avenue are a ten-minute walk away. There's a bus stop a few hundred meters from the hotel that takes you directly to Galata Bridge and the marina. The location is so convenient! Most importantly, the two gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They helped with our luggage and kept asking about our needs, offering assistance at every turn! It was a wonderful travel experience! I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I were to visit Istanbul again. Of course, there were some negatives. The soundproofing between rooms was poor; I could hear my neighbor washing up. Also, the location on Ctrip was inaccurate, which has nothing to do with the hotel. I hope Ctrip can correct the location. I searched for a long time and asked many people before I found it. The location on Ctrip was in the opposite direction of the hotel."
