Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott

Perfect stat if near to airport. Hotel is clean and comfort. Available facilities like gym. Very comfortable and staff is great.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Marriott. When I checked into my room and opened the toilet lid, I was disgusted to find the previous guest’s urine still there. It was obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned at all. I went to the front desk to report this, but instead of apologizing and fixing the issue right away, they told me there were no housekeepers available until the morning. Only after I repeatedly insisted did they reluctantly send someone to clean. To make matters worse, the bed sheets were so wrinkled that I seriously questioned whether they had even been changed. The lack of cleanliness and basic hospitality was shocking. I have stayed at other Marriott properties and always had a clean and comfortable experience, but this location was a complete disappointment. As a young Asian woman traveling alone, I felt dismissed and not taken seriously, which made the entire situation even more unacceptable.

Wonderful experience. Service is great. All of the staff are nice and kindness and warm hospitality. The room is clean and comfortable，perfect view and peaceful environment. Next time I will choose her again.

This was the worst experience I've ever had during my time in the US (New York). Let me explain why.... 1) Trip.com and this hotel have been notified about my late check-in as I was coming at 7 am the next morning. When I got to the reception, I was told my booking was cancelled automatically because I did not check in on time. But hey, they both have been notified and they both confirmed we won't face any issue with our late check-in. So much stress for nothing. 2) We had our 1.st breakfast and again we were told we could spend $50 each (2 people, meaning 2x $50) for the breakfast, as we had prepaid breakfast from Trip.com. Then another person told us they made a mistake, and we had only $50 per room (not per person). So late as we already ordered breakfast, right? When we were about to leave, we were even told that we had to pay our bill because our PREPAID breakfast was not included in our booking. So I went to the reception desk asking what the hell the issue was, and I was again told that the breakfast budget wasn't even $50 but ONLY $44. Se we PREPAID our breakfast, and yep, we were told to pay for it again. 3) This hotel even charged us more than they should. So I had to raise a dispute with my bank because this hotel overcharged us with all those issues they have made since we came in. 4) This hotel does not even bother to respond to your emails, calls, messages from Trip.com etc. It's a scam! I would give them 0 star If I could and I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCAM BUSINESS PRACTICE AND HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!

Great location for the passage who has the next day connecting flight! Overall excellent experience during the stay. Highly recommended.
