Stayed at the Burrendale for two nights on a work conference with 15 colleagues. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and included hairdryer, iron and tea tray, everything one needs for a stay. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent on both days as was the service. Overall it was a great stay.

We had a lovely stay in the Burrendale Hotel to celebrate my Granny's 90th birthday. The family rooms are a good size and the children enjoyed the bunk beds. The only complaint about the rooms was that they got very warm at night. We all enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and made a fuss of my granny. We enjoyed the pool during our stay and would definitely return again.

A brilliant 2 day night stay. Entertainment on both nights was fantastic and a beautiful meal in the Vine Restaurant. Perfect location.and service and staff throughout the hotel are friendly and welcoming. Recommend. The new lounge area is beautiful.

We had a family meal today, in the Castle Suite, in memory of our mum. The food was served on time and tasted delicious, everybody loved it. The staff were so helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Bronagh who went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you.

Excellent accommodation and beautiful views of the Mournes. Great food and friendly staff. Entertainment in The Cottage Bar was great fun, always good to see people up dancing. Didn't get to use the Country Club but great to have the facilities available.

Have stayed here several times and love the mostly friendly staff and the rooms refurbished are lovely. On the whole food was delicious with some minor issues. Dining staff complained about being busy not what you want to hear when eating dinner. Service was slow but plenty of staff around mostly complaining about working and conveniently forgetting requests for certain dietary requirements . Even had to go to the 3 staff standing talking for our bill. Notice the reviews here are not commented on by any management staff. Hotel should look at the negative reviews to improve and is sad a couple of staff let down the establishment.

We had a 80th birthday for my father at the hotel, we booked a buffet for 60 people at £16.99 a head after a few cancelled we had 56 people there and to be totally honest the food was horrendous, the quality was very poor and you could tell that they really skimmed on the food that didn't even feed 56 never mind 60, when we said they brought out more cold chips, the experience really ruined the night and I couldn't see that the hotel spent anymore than £100 on the food, we paid nearly £2000 for food than wouldn't even be served in a kinder garden, avoid at all costs

An absolutely fantastic stay. Room was spotless with a beautiful view of the Mournes. Dinner was top-notch and included in the price. The staff were so friendly and engaging. Special mention to Joel on reception and Martin in the Cottage Bar and danced the night away to Stevie Mcveigh. Entertainment and friendly staff make for a fantastic stay. Definitely will book again.
