I have stayed at Kasbannas a number of times now and I love it! We usually get a private double room. The rooms are spacious, comfy and the beds are great. The location is in central Newcastle and there's lots of transport options nearby like the metro and busses. The staff are lovely, apart from one of the managers the last time I stayed was quite rude and unprofessional. I didn't let this ruin Kasbannas for me because I've always had such lovely experiences here apart from that one member of staff.

The hostel is in a great location, very close to the city centre and within easy walking distance. The cleanliness was okay overall, although the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn’t working properly, so the room felt a little damp. One very positive detail was the hand soap and shampoo provided, they smelled amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the common area is comfortable and cosy. There is no kitchen, but coffee and snacks are available. There can be some noise from the other rooms and from doors being slammed. I was a little unlucky during my stay because there was a children’s football team staying at the hostel. They were quite noisy late at night and early in the morning, knocking on doors, shouting and running through the corridors. Of course, this wasn’t the hostel’s fault, but unfortunately it made my stay less enjoyable. Overall, I would still recommend this hostel, especially to women travelling solo. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay.

I stayed in a dormitory. There was a power outlet and a light by the head of the bed, but no curtain. Inside the room, just past the door, there were two clean toilets and two showers. I wasn't particularly bothered by noises from other people, but depending on the bed's location, it might be an issue for some. I slept comfortably.

Great place to overnight, clean, friendly staff, great communal area with free tea and coffee, fairly central, 15 min walk to Central Station and about same to Quayside, if you're happy staying dormitory style it's a great budget option at less than 20 quid, only negative/ suggestion put a privacy curtain across each bed as some other dorm hotels do, all in all recommended.

The location was good, close to the city center. The bathroom was quite small and the bathroom sink took a while to drain after using. The storage units in the room were small too. Overall, it was convenient for a night stay.

Everything is high standard

They have a coffee/tea/ hot chocolate corner with a microwave. Next to it a chill out space with tables and TV. Nice clean showers and toilet in the room. One shower was missing shampoo and soap and only had conditioner.

Staffs were very friendly albeit they have been having technical issues with check-in system. Room was clean. My key card stopped working every time I tried to go to my room. They had a nice lounge area with TV and board games.

I did very Late night check in and everything was great by Reception organisation. Location was close to all city centre activities.

Clean, comfortable setting. Only complaint is there weren't any hooks for towels and lack of space to put things in shower. Otherwise great stay!

Good rooms, with nice toilets and showers. Only issue is there is no kitchen (just a microwave and a free coffee machine)

I have stayed here 2 times now ilike the location the staff omg so friendly and easy to talk to, I do recommend this place to anyone travelling. Not only will you enjoy your holiday but the staff make you feel right at home and will accommodate your every needs, i will be definitely going back there again without a doubt

Stayed at Kabannas Newcastle and really enjoyed it. The location is perfect — right in the city centre, close to everything. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Great value for money and ideal for a short city break or night out in Newcastle.
