Great receptionist who was very welcoming and friendly. Good location for access to the A500 and A34 roads as well as a bus stop only a 5 minute walk away. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very dated and lack on soundproofing between the rooms is a major issue. I could hear the guy in the room below talking and could also hear the room next door opening and closing their toilet seat! I was awoken at 1am with an inconsiderate neighbour with their tv on very loud and coughing loudly. There is a main wing and smaller wing to the side. I stayed on the 1st floor in the main wing but I would recommend you ask for the 1st floor in the small wing to minimise the number of people around you and source of external noise.
View from the room was nice however.

When I was looking for somewhere to stay for the night this was the cheapest available and for what I paid it was amazing. Its no luxury stop but for a few night s if you need to be in the area you can't go wrong.

Stayed here with my family and from the moment we got here after a hectic day, we was greeted by an amazing lady called Andrea. Any hotel that had her on the front desk is winning. Thanks for an amazing stay Andrea you need a pay rise! If anyone needs accommodation in stoke I hope Andrea is on the desk for you x

Booked to stay here whilst travelling down from Edinburgh on our way to Alton Towers. Wasn’t expecting much but for the money we paid for one night it was probably worth it. Room and beds were clean and comfortably fitted a family of four. There is a Greggs and Subway next door to the hotel which is handy for breakfast. Staff were also very good and would definitely stay here again if needed. No plug sockets next to the bed which was a bit annoying though

Been coming here for 20+ years. Staff are excellent. Always make you feel welcome. And always treat everyone like VIPs. We love staying here as it’s comfortable, and we know anything we ask for we get. Thank you to the lovely staff at travelodge talke

Set in a quiet, rural location but near the M6, this motel is perfect for breaking a long journey and getting a good rest. Despite not being refurbished, my room was in excellent condition with a super comfortable bed. It was also spotless. The staff were friendly too.

I'm at this Travelodge most weeks and it is always impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff are lovely, especially Lindsay and Donna, and it's become my home away from home. There's Greg's and Subway across the parking lot so food is sorted. It's 10 minutes from Staffordshire University so easy access for me. Really appreciate having this as my base.
