At 10:30 in the evening, the hotel was closed. The reception was closed. The reception was warm. The breakfast was simple. The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The shower was like a new one. It was very new.

The web site stated zero walking to beach and it was NOT! there are stairs and a lot of them, also vending machines only mean soda! I would NOT have stayed there if I knew it was that far to walk to the beach... about one block to stairs and down 6 flights and yes you have to walk back up them too! check in time is later then most places too! went, stayed and won't be back! Don't like story tellers.

Located on the edge of Ocean Park, parking is convenient and suitable for evening walks. It is very interesting to see locals catching crabs and cleaning up their catch on the trestle under the bridge. Newport's main urban area is north of the bridge, some messy and old, but the hotel is south of the bridge, although there are not many stores, but quiet and beautiful. The accommodation fee is a bit expensive, more expensive than the 4-star hotel in downtown Vancouver, a little distressed.
