The location is very good. It's not far from the bus station in the city center. It's clean and quiet. The staff are friendly. The water pressure in the shower is really thin and slow. It's not too hot even in hot summer. It's very comfortable with a fan.

Beautifully decorated and furnished room with extra large bed! All the in room refreshments we could want. The staff are so kind and helpful. The wide variety of the continental breakfast was a very pleasant change to the usual cooked English breakfast.

Our room was a good size with a huge bathroom! It was very well quipped with eveything you are likely to need. Our Host Dean and his staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us, especially when we thought we had lost our return Ferry ticket! Will come again for sure.

Hewitts do it again Great place to stay. Fantastic food and drinks Always ready to help. If you are worried about parking ask at the desk and help will be given. Food is a delight conjured up in quick time. Try the starters, the duck dzoarkas ( which I will now call Duck number 1 )

Dean checked us in, took us straight to our room and offered to get us a drink after our long journey in the hot weather which was very welcome. Room beautiful and clean, everything we needed. Unfortunately we couldn't find in the restaurant as we had come over for a party but had Breakfast which was Continental and lovely. Highly recommended!

Comfortable room with a lovely large double bed. Breakfast was just continental which was a shame as we had eaten in the restaurant the night before and the food was delicious . Would have been nice to have had the choice of a cooked breakfast. Staff are really friendly and atmosphere in restaurant is great .

Really pleased to have chosen Hewitt's for an overnight stay in Newport on the Isle of Wight, from a shortlist of five in the immediate area. Even before booking Dean was really helpful on the phone, happy to share with me discount codes for both ferry operators, and on the day of arrival gave a call to check when we'd get there to make sure someone would be on hand to welcome us. On arrival it was Dean himself who checked us in, showed us to the brilliant room, and gave suggestions on where would be good to eat. Continental breakfast in the morning was a good wholesome arrangement. All in all a great visit to an establishment we'd be happy to recommend.

From the outset we were made to feel very welcome and throughout our stay, all the staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous and provided an impeccable service. The accommodation and food was of a very high standard and I would fully recommend visiting and staying here. Great location with a lovely garden area to relax. Thank you very much and we will definitely visit again.
