St Christopher's Inn Newquay

I came for one night, but stayed for 3. My first evening I was welcomed by well travelled staff members. I arrived late so no food and drink night one. Nice hot shower in a mix 10 bed room. Bring a padlock they have lockable cages under the bed. For extra safety or just to throw your day pack in, they have electronic lockers in Reception £1.50 per day. Next day all you can eat breakfast, plenty of options £5 8-10am so I you've got a big day a head then stay a while and fill up. Reasonable price food and drinks available at the bar, deals available! The bunks all have 2 plug sockets each and also have a bedside light with plugs, USB and USB C ports. It's definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is buzzing and the guess have been just as chilled out as the staff. It's a massive thumbs up from me and I'll be back!
Oceanside Lifestyle Hotel

We booked Oceanside for my birthday. We chose a Balcony Bliss room on the first floor. It was everything I hoped for to celebrate my birthday. We decided to eat in the hotel on both nights. We were not disappointed. Breakfast was superb. One of the best and the staff…Oh my, so bright eyed and bushy tailed. Smiles all round. You made my day as I opened my cards and presents on my birthday. Thank you. Well, that wasn’t the end of it, I left the hotel with a beautiful plant and a lovely card from the staff. Thank you Wes for arranging it and for just being amazing every time we have come to Oceanside. You are amazing and we look forward to seeing you again. The plant is flourishing. Love and hugs, Pamela.

Pentire Hotel

A lovely hotel. Food good, decor internally excellent., staff friendly and courteous. I stayed in a single room and from past experience when often the room is little more than a broom cupboard I was more than happy. Will come again……with my dog. Sorry about your toaster!!!!
Newquay Beach Hotel
4.1/562 Reviews
This is a premium boutique hotel in a central location, close to town, beach, train station and approx 15mins from the airport. The hotel is fresh and clean but the most appealing part of the stay for us was the staff and the food. From the moment we arrived (Susannah at reception) everyone we met was so pleasant, friendly and keen to ensure our comfort at all times. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant- both were superb - catering etc is to a very high standard with attention to detail. Overall, an excellent place to stay and to eat.
Legacy Hotel Victoria

This hotel is bang in the centre of Newquay, the zoo and park is only a 10-15 minute walk away. and the town just a few minutes out of the front door. A very useful Tesco express is across the road from the hotel-for your morning Costa before the buffet opens. When you walk into this hotel, you can just see how grand it is, the foyer and reception areas are particularly impressive. The reception, housekeeping and breakfast/waiting staff that we met were all friendly and happy to help. The breakfast itself was adequate, there was a good selection-everything that I expected to see. We were upgraded to a seaview room, which was a lovely surprise and the view was fantastic. Unfortunately this is where the good points end.....now for the bad points; Parking-this is not mentioned in the write up for the hotel, but this is not guaranteed at this hotel (even after you have paid the £5 fee for all the days you are staying there) and the hotel carpark is not just for guests. We weren't told about the 'overflow' carpark until we complained that we had nowhere to park, and to be honest, its not the best situation-the overflow carpark is behind the nightclub attached to the hotel, not lit at night. The other thing to mention about the parking is that it was quite frustrating to see (as we were struggling to find a space as a paying guest) that the staff seem to have priority in the spaces at the front of the hotel and workmen's vans were parked around the back-leaving very few for their guests. The lift! This DOES NOT WORK-we were told it was only available to take luggage (and cleaning carts)-this IS a problem...and not one that they seem to be addressing (reviews from many months ago have also mentioned this problem). We were on the 3rd floor and there are many many stairs to climb to get there-I'm not unfit, but this was quite a pain for me...We passed disabled people having to climb the same amount of stairs too, I do wonder if they were informed of the lift being broken before they checked in-I'm guessing not. The bathroon-I'm not a snob, and not particularly picky-but what I don't like is grot! The bathroom in our room was just grot, I'm afraid to say-so much so that I tried to avoid having a shower in there-I attempted to take my shower stuff down to the pool changing rooms to get a nicer shower (more on that in a moment)-the grout is filthy, the soap dish is just pure rust-I mean how would that not have been flagged and replaced.... The pool area-well...when I said grot for the bathroom in the room-the pool area and changing rooms were on another level of grot and filth....uuurgh, just uuurgh is all I can really say about it... The 'jacuzzi', a little bit like the lift, is STILL not working, same goes for the sauna....These are things that should be updated on the website in my opinion-it has been that long since there were operational that I don't think the hotel can really advertise these 'features' anymore. My other gripe is that there is NO recy
