We have stayed here on a number of occasions and really like the hotel. Good parking and a sizeable bedroom.
If I had any complaints, it would be that the mattress is rock solid, and we didn't sleep well at all.
I believe the hotel has been sold and a renovation is in the near future...
We'll see what the prices do...🙈

Simply excellent
Myself and other family members had the great pleasure of staying at Eshott Hall for a couple of nights. While the occasion was a sad one due to a family bereavement, every single member of staff made the pain less, professional and sensitive service, attention to detail and an empathetic attitude, simply superb. We stayed in the Grange and it was lovely, the food was excellent and the setting impressive. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay again.

Although the Hall is near the A1, it is a hidden gem. The building is beautiful inside and out and our stay was a little bit of luxury for a special occasion.
Staff were very helpful and the whole experience was good value.

Fantastic break in a lovely character hotel
Fantastic stay from start to finish. The rooms in the main house are amazing and full of character. The food is fantastic and the staff are excellent. White tablecloth, candles, something missing in kost hotels today. Its our third visit and we look forward to the next one. I wish there were more hotels like this.

Grand and beautiful stately home
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Eshott Hall. Our room was spacious, beautiful and very comfortable with a wonderful big bath. Everywhere is very clean and the food is superb.

The beds were very good, and the rooms I had booked had showers and a bath. The restaurant downstairs served a good breakfast and an excellent meal.

We were at a wedding in the North East & stayed at Eshott Hall for 2 nights
An exceptional place to stay, the grounds alone make it exceptional. The room was spacious & clean. We ate in the restaurant the first night, a great menu to choose from, the food when it arrived didn’t disappoint! The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. Special thanks to Demi, Adam and Dave who looked after us so well. Thank you Eshott Hall, we will be back 😊 X
