Called ”Aarya Hotel”, this is a worn, tired motel right on Niagara Falls Blvd. We stayed here years ago and were pleased with our stay (wrote a positive review in 2016). This time, it was a massive disappointment. The good things about the motel: Air conditioning worked, staff were pleasant, bed was okay, ice machine worked. The bad things: 1. No towels at all in the room at check-in. Only a tiny bit of toilet paper, no spare roll, no ice bucket, broken luggage rack. When we asked at the desk, we were given two bathtowels and a floor mat - no hand towel, no face cloth. We were staying for two nights - toss us a handtowel, please. 2. The room also had a single hook in the bathroom - no dresser, no closet, no hooks anywhere else. When we arrived, there was an ironing board set up next to the sink - that was the only place you could hang your coat or stack your stuff. 3. No chair. 4. TV didn't work. We were asked to wait for a technician. Later in the evening, we were told the tech was unavailable and to be fair, we were then offered a different room. At that point, we just decided to go out to a movie - hanging in the room was pretty depressing. 5. Carpet and floor were dirty. Not visibly dirty since the flooring is a dark colour, but I walked from the bed to the bathroom. When I took off my socks, they were filthy on the bottom. 6. Bathroom was not great - mould on the shower curtain, hole in the floor and the shower leaked all over the room. Needs some basic maintenance. 7. The 'breakfast' was horrible. No fruit, no yoghurt, no pastries or bagels. They used to have a wafflemaker, but that's long gone. There is a juice machine that shows Apple or Orange juice, however, 3 of the 4 buttons just sprayed water. If you guessed correctly, one button dispensed watery orange juice. They had white bread or grocery store mini muffins. There was also cereal in a dodgy-looking plastic dispenser, but no milk. Coffee and tea were available, but we didn't bother. 8. Pool was okay - I've seen worse. Wasn't heated, needed a skim and a vacuum, but not horrible. 9. Junk stored by the pool and the office - had quite a collection of Target/Tops shopping carts. Not sure why, but not a great look. And if the management was okay with stealing shopping carts, how safe was the stuff in our room? 10. Office was locked at all times, which meant that it was a hassle to get a towel, or TP, or an ice bucket. The bell was answered promptly, but it was one more roadblock. Again, not sure why the door was locked during the day. I really wanted to like this place because we try to support local/independent businesses rather than chains all of the time, but our stay was a disappointment. It's like the owners have just given up figuring that people will have to stay there during peak tourist season.

This property differs from a traditional bed and breakfast, and if you book online you will be surprised with an extra $15 ”cleaning fee” which the proprietor did not include in his online listing. How does it differ from a traditional bed and breakfast? The owner is not on site. You are not provided a fully cooked breakfast You need to wash your dishes and clean up the kitchen after you eat breakfast You are provided a selection of food you can make for your own breakfast, but if another guest beats you to the punch you may not get what you like. And when you are done making your breakfast you are expected to wash your dishes and clean up the kitchen. In other words this is more like an Air B&B rather than a bed and breakfast. If that's what you are looking for then this place will fit the bill for you. If you want a true bed and breakfast then look elsewhere.

GGuest UserFirst, I’d like to say that the staff was courteous and helpful. I’m not expecting the Ritz Carlton but for $250 per night, I’d expect at the very least a couple of bottles of water in the room and perhaps some cheap room slippers. Also, to advertise a swimming pool when it’s 21 feet long is a stretch! That’s more like a wading pool. There were a few times I called ‘0’ to get the front desk and a message comes on requesting that you leave a message! Breakfast was typical for this brand - nothing truly healthy. Bagels, muffins, processed cereals, pre-processed omelets etc just don’t cut it especially for a health conscious vegetarian. The oatmeal with raisins and pumpkin seeds was my breakfast. Also, there are no in-room safes. If I were paying $79 or even $100, I’d say ok, but for $250 per night, the hotel should be showering the guests with amenities. They are being cheap and greedy. Not even any toothbrushes ! Can’t say that Covid caused it anymore. That’s all past us now. I’ve been living in Asia for the past 8 years and those hotels have far surpassed ours by light years when comparing side by side. Howard S. Unfortunately, most of the hotels in this city are way overpriced for the value received.
Ssunhao621Good value for money, quite satisfactory, suitable for traveling families. A restaurant downstairs is an internet celebrity restaurant, and its special dish is grilled chicken wings. Strawberry cake 🍰 is a dessert worth trying. It is walking distance to the waterfall, and you can see the waterfall through the waterfall park.
GGuest UserWe arrived on 19th September after 3 days in times Square. Long journey by amtrak train (8 hours) but very comfortable and didn't seem that long. The seneca is a massive hotel with very little in it. The ****** is very expensive even if you are like us just wanted a little flutter. None of the restaurants were open, bar one, which meant long queues. Our room was huge and was very nice with electric curtains and a hot tub in the room. My daughter and her husband had the same room but on the floor above, but nothing worked in their room sadly. It is well located, but if you are expecting a view of the falls you want get it. We booked a tour using our city passes and met Dan who took us all over and to a bakery...which is a must. It was called niagra falls illuminations. Would I choose it again, for location yes. No for restaurants. No for staff they were not very accommodating. I personally would stay on the train to the Canadian side, that was amazing.
GGuest UserThe staff was friendly. The “spa” was honestly gross and disappointing. The oxygen bar was unattended and there was used nasal tubing laying around. The shower head in our room was broken and sprayed water everywhere except onto the body. The walls are thin you can hear everything in the hallway (definitely pack a fan and sound machine) They use a really strong artificial fragrance on the carpets- I had to use my asthma rescue inhaler several times. It was nice being close to the ****** and falls- but I don’t think we will stay here again due to the smells, sounds and disrepairs.

GGuest UserIt is Sunday morning, the first day of May and a beautiful morning (at least for now) in Niagara Falls, NY, where we are staying at the Niagara Falls Courtyard. We arrived here last night after a six hour drive from Ann Arbor where we attended the University of Michigan graduation. We chose this hotel in part because it was approximately half way between Ann Arbor and our home in Albany plus it offered an opportunity to see the falls from a vantage point different from the Canadian side, where we typically stay when traveling between Michigan and New York. Having driven nearly 400 miles and arriving at 10:00 pm, we were very pleased to be welcomed by Chris who checked us in a personable, yet professional manner. Besides giving us our room keys, she gave us a quick overview of the hotel’s amenities, directed us to a luggage cart and then the elevator. This is the third Marriott property that we have stayed in during this trip and Chris’s welcome was by far the best we had received Also, when I asked about what seemed to be a hint of a chocolate scent in the entry way, she explained that the building used to be a Chocolate Factory. Maybe the gods were at play because I am a big fan of Chocolate Upon entry into our third floor room, we were first taken aback by its size but then realized that we had been staying in Residence Inns , whose suites are noticeably larger. Having said this, the room was perfect for the two if us, had a king size bed, a couch and sitting area, a desk, and even a small balcony. It was decorated in what I would call semi-modern and everything was clean and the bathroom had plenty of towels, etc. Besides Chocolate, I also am a fan of Marriott pillows and was pleased to see the bed had four pillows plus a backing to sit up against. Our one complaint was the lack of enough coffee packets (only two) and we had to go down to the lobby to purchase two Starbucks coffees which were excellent as was the service we received from Rachel. We then headed off to the Niagara Falls State Park, which was a relatively easy mile walk away. Overall, on a five point scale, I give the Niagara Falls Courtyard a rating of 4.5 I know this is long, but after checking in, I read some of the earlier reviews and we did not experience any of the problems mentioned in these. I hope that anyone who stays at this hotel has the same positive experience we have had.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very strategically located in Niagara Falls, NY. You can walk to everything within the state park. You are also close to the Rainbow Bridge, so you can walk across it into Canada to explore the Canada side of Niagara Falls. You need to remember to bring your passport to enter into Canada. Would highly recommend this hotel for persons who are looking for a nice modern hotel that is strategically located to get the full experience of Niagara Falls, NY.
SSiva SaveroThe hotel was based very near to Niagara so the location is very convenient. However, at reception I felt a sense of passive aggression from the clerk at midnight which was unsoothing. The variety for breakfast was poor as there was only waffles and there were barely any amenities provided.
GGuest UserWe arrived early, before checkin time, but it was no problem to park the car and use the bathroom already. We then headed to the Falls by foot, which is a 10 minute-walk. Check in was fast. The rooms are a bit older, but spacious and clean. Breakfast was basic, but ok for the 80 $ we paid for the night. There was also an indoor pool, but we did not use it. The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. Definitely to be recommended.
GGuest UserLocation: Although the location is great as this hotel is very close to the visitor center. But at night the area around the hotel is very dark and seems unsafe.
Front Desk: A little too preoccupied with process and not really great at communication. We had booked a room with two queen beds online and paid in advance. At the hotel we requested if the same can be changed to one king size bed - the receptionist foolishly changed the room to one queen bed room !!
Restaurant: Great staff, very helpful and inviting and always ready to explain even the most basic things to foreigner like myself.
Cleanliness: Great Job !!
