I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the location is great, and the staff were all very lovely and helpful. The only thing to note is that the elevator can only be used when going up, so you have to take the stairs when going down. Overall, I had a very nice stay and would recommend it. good time I love this Nice hotel

The hotel's facilities are comparable to a 3-star hotel in China. Its location near the station is very convenient, and it's about a 30-minute walk to the beach. The bathroom lacks a shower curtain and doesn't have a wet/dry separation. The room cleaning was a bit perfunctory.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to public transport and many of Nice's main attractions, making it a great base for exploring the city. The hotel itself was comfortable and well maintained. While it wasn't luxurious, it was clean enough, and the room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit, making check-in and my overall stay straightforward. I also noticed the hotel has a rooftop bar, which looked like a nice feature, although I didn't get the chance to visit it during my stay. Overall, I had a very good experience and would happily stay here again.

When checking in I requested for a quieter room and the receptionist gave me an upgrade to a higher floo, which I do greatly appreciate. He told me he was able to confirm the free upgrade for the first two nights and I should ask the receptionist the next day to check if I can stay in the same room for the third night and see if I need to pay the difference for just the third night which would be around 40 euros. I did so on the second night and the receptionist told me everything was good and my card was actually already programmed for three days. No extra payment was ever mentioned. However, when checking out, this rude woman just whipped out a 150 euro bill and told me to pay for the difference for all three nights. When I explained the situation to her she just kept giving a sarcastic smile and repeating “yeah but you came too late” to check on the second day, but in reality nobody ever mentioned a time deadline to check with the receptionist. It was obvious from her expression and tone that she took great pleasure in trying to make me pay. Fortunately a manager was there and he said I don’t need to pay this charge, but even after he made the decision the rude woman kept putting on an extremely rude attitude and kept trying to talk back and waste my time. Hope this hotel will get ride if this rude employee soon as she is ruining everyone else’s hard work. The hotel building itself is also pretty old. It is facing one of the main streets in the city which makes the location convenient but you can hear all the noise. Large areas of the faux leather bed headboard is also peeling off. ihni

The bunk beds are quite spacious. The room has four separate beds, and one of them is large enough for five people, which is great for families and friends traveling together. The air conditioning is comfortable, and the room is clean and tidy. It's also quite close to Nice's main train station, within walking distance, and well-equipped, which is a big plus.

Overall, my experience at Hôtel Monsigny in Nice was fantastic! My friend and I stayed for 5 nights. With the heatwave in France this year, air conditioning was crucial, and the AC in our room was incredibly powerful, making it very comfortable to stay indoors despite the muggy weather. The room itself was spacious, with plenty of storage and room to move around. The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and provided attentive service. I stayed on the first floor and had to carry my own luggage up the stairs, which was a bit tough with heavy bags, but other than that, there were no downsides. The location is convenient for getting around, and I highly recommend staying here when visiting Nice.

The room smells mouldy and the toilet has some smell that is not very good, probably due to the ventilation. However, the location is good, near tram station and had quite a lot of restaurants near by

I had a great stay at this hotel. Hotel was clean. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The location could not be better for me. With shops all around, a tram stop right in front of the hotel, and the train station just around the corner, getting around as a solo traveler was effortless. It served as a fantastic base not only to explore Nice, but also to take day trips to other towns along the Côte d'Azur. I would definitely stay here again!"

Lovely location, very well connected with the rest of the city. The staff were also lovely. The only thing is if you have a lot of luggages the elevator might be too small to fit in. Otherwise for us it was a lovely stay! Merci beaucoup!

The room is nice. Location is good. The family room is large with a stair and duplex floor. However, the duplex floor height is short and have to be aware of the beam at the ceiling.

The hotel is really close to the train station. Room was clean and big enough for 3 nights, but we were just with backpacks! The shower cabin does NOT have a door, so the whole bathroom get wet after a small shower. In summer I think the hotel is a little overpriced
