We had an excellent experience at the Gate Twenty-Two Hotel in Nikosia. Even though we only spent a night there before travelling on, we were made welcome by various members of the team. On our arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink as well as a bottle of water, fresh fruit salad and a nice gift bag of tea and toiletries waiting for us in our room. The room itself had a very warm feel due to the friendly interior and the pleasant colours. Besides, we also enjoyed the small balcony to take in the city skyline at night. The bathroom (including shower and toilet) was rather small but practical, as was the wash basin that was located in the bedroom itself. The location of the hotel is perfect for any sightseeing needs (and that's exactly why we chose it), only a few minutes' walk from Ledras Street, the Green Line and Büyük Han. Currently there's a temporary building site in front of the hotel but that didn't bother us at all. Access to the hotel is given via the sidewalk - and we recommend the parking lot D'Avila Moat (basically at the old city bastion) that has reasonable prices and plenty of space and includes an elevator that takes you to the level of the hotel - and then it's just a 2 min walk across the street. Breakfast (served in the lovely lobby area) included various kinds of cheese, ham, cereals, vegetables and fruits, juices etc. (plus some special sweet treats, spinach pie etc. - sth you wouldn't usually expect) - and was really delicious. All areas of the hotel were very clean and in great shape - you could feel and see that it's pretty new and very well maintained. All in all, a very good hotel experience that we'd definitely repeat if we visited Nikosia again.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. The interior design is truly impressive – modern, minimal, and elegant, with attention to detail that creates a very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere throughout the property. Everything from the lobby to the rooms felt thoughtfully put together, and the overall aesthetic really elevates the guest experience. You can tell the team behind the design knew exactly what they were doing. The staff were polite and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The only downside was that our room felt smaller than what we expected based on the photos online. While it was still comfortable and functional, the space looked a bit more generous in the pictures than it actually was in person. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall quality of our stay. We would definitely consider coming back and would recommend it to others looking for a stylish and comfortable place to stay.
