Bnbplus Niigata Book Inn

I checked in around 23:00 and checked out just after 7:00, and everything went smoothly without any issues. It's a clean and well-maintained property, and I had a very comfortable stay. After taking a shower, there was a notice explaining how to place the bath mat, but since I couldn't follow the instructions precisely, I propped it up against the wall in my own way. If I had to point out one small thing, revising how that instruction is displayed would make the stay completely hassle-free. I'd love to stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit Niigata in the future.

It was clean. However, the shower room is small, so it might not be suitable for people with a large build.

I'm not happy that the amenities are extra, but overall I'm satisfied. I wish they'd at least provide one bath towel for free. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Furumachi Street! It's about a 30-minute walk!

The booking page was for a mixed-gender space, and I was a little worried about what would happen if there were more men. However, upon checking in, I was assigned a bed in the women-only area. So I was able to stay with peace of mind and was very satisfied. I was mostly satisfied with the other facilities as well, but if I had to nitpick, it would have been even more comfortable if there had been a women-only shower room.

A dormitory. It's kind of like a capsule hotel. It's around 3500 yen, so it's good value for money. Amenities are available for a fee, so it's good if you don't bring much luggage.

I went there for a university interview, and it was great because there were lots of books and it was close to the station. I think it would be good to come with a friend, and Koreans could also stay comfortably. However, you cannot leave your luggage inside until check-in, so please plan your visit accordingly.

This is a completely self-service hotel, an irresponsible one. The hotel offers luggage storage, but it must be retrieved by 8 PM on the day of check-out. Today, I checked out and left my luggage at the hotel. I arrived at 7:30 PM to retrieve it, but the gate code had changed. This is normal, as it changes daily. I emailed and called the hotel, but received no response. I waited outside for an hour, waiting for other guests to return before I could get my luggage. I had to catch a 10 PM bus to Tokyo, and as of now, 10:20 PM, I still haven't received a response! If a guest hadn't returned to open the door, would I have stayed in Niigata? This is a hotel that neglects its guests. I advise everyone not to leave their luggage at the hotel, even if you're staying there. The risk is extremely high.

Traveling light is a good option, but be aware that this hotel's cancellation deadline is well before the check-in date. If you plan to book first and then change, pay attention to the timeframe.
