"The service upon arrival and throughout my stay was very polite and left a positive impression. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes and was excellent, making for a delightful start to the day. I particularly enjoyed the local Niigata side dishes and the made-to-order omelets. On the other hand, the room's facilities were outdated and I felt they might need updating soon. Considering the excellent service from the hotel staff and the quality of the breakfast, I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you."

"The location is great, making it easy to get to Niigata Station, and there's a bus stop right outside. A taxi to the airport isn't too expensive either, costing around 3200 yen by meter. The hotel itself is a bit dated, and the front desk service felt somewhat perfunctory, though they did provide basic services. Even though my room was non-smoking, there was an inexplicable odor, likely due to the old air conditioning. This really doesn't align with the hotel's brand reputation."

"I used this hotel to take my elementary school-aged child to a concert. The front desk staff were all very kind and gave me lots of helpful information about transportation to Toki Messe. The weather was bad, so I considered taking the bus, but in the end, I walked. They said it might take about 25 minutes, but even in bad weather, it only took less than 20 minutes, which was great! Also, it's located in a shopping arcade, so I could walk around and shop without getting wet in the rain, and the parking lot was right there, which was fantastic! I would definitely like to use this hotel again for another concert! Thank you! ☺️"

"Niigata Prefecture is a place I've always wanted to visit, to buy the best Koshihikari rice from Uonuma City, the best in the world and all of Japan, to buy Echigo-ita mochi (rice cakes) that can only be found in Niigata, and to buy sake. I'm grateful to the Domi chain hotel for helping me escape poverty through my own hard work when I was going through a low point in my life and first came to Japan. I also appreciate that, in addition to upholding the high-quality service expected in Japan, it also satisfies my daily habit of soaking in hot springs and saunas. I stayed for two nights, but Niigata Tahō no Yu disappointed me. The women's public bath is located on the second floor of the hotel, and not only does it lack an open-air bath, but the fact that it only has a wet sauna and no dry sauna is my biggest disappointment. The men's public bath is located on the top floor of the hotel, and it has both an open-air bath and a high-temperature dry sauna. I can understand that the hotel's facilities are limited, but why couldn't the men's and women's public baths be switched every other day (as many hot spring hotels in Japan do now) to try to satisfy most customers with limited facilities? Anyway, I feel it's unfair. In today's society, women have it harder than men. While everyone else has to work to earn money and support their families, women also have endless housework, children's education, etiquette for both sets of parents during holidays, and so on to worry about... Shouldn't women be the first to enjoy their vacations and relaxation?"

"Although it is a historic hotel, it was a very nice hotel. The breakfast was also delicious. I often stayed at other hotels in Niigata, but I wish I had stayed there earlier."
