Crowne Plaza CITY CENTER NINGBO by IHG

On a special trip to Ningbo, I chose the Crowne Plaza City Center Ningbo. Its location is unbeatable, making it super convenient to get to Tianyi Square and Chenghuang Temple. I have to give a big shout-out to Nancy; her service was truly exceptional. She proactively messaged me on WeChat before check-in and not only helped me secure an upgraded room with a view but also patiently guided me through the member registration process. She even thoughtfully arranged a late check-out, which really took away any worries I had about my travel schedule. The room was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were well-maintained, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast spread was extensive, with plenty of local specialties to enjoy. The hotel's pool area was also very nice. From check-in to check-out, every single detail made the stay incredibly comfortable. It was a perfect experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ningbo!

The next day, she arranged a birthday cake and helped with a late check-out. You could truly feel the warmth of the service everywhere. The hotel's overall environment is good, and the service is very warm. Nancy is sincere and thoughtful, always considering things from the guest's perspective. After I reported it to Nancy, she responded very quickly and immediately arranged for us to move to a brand-new room. Her efficiency in handling problems was excellent, and it didn't disrupt our rest. The hotel is located in the city center, offering an excellent location with comprehensive dining and shopping options nearby, making transportation very convenient. From the initial communication and check-in to handling unexpected issues, every step made me feel at ease. The service is commendable, earning a five-star rating. Not only did they highlight the breakfast specials, but they also considered the breakfast crowd patterns and suggested peak avoidance times, saving us from early morning queues. They also recommended highly-rated local restaurants near Tianyi Square, helping us steer clear of trendy, overhyped spots. The room facilities were well-maintained, the mini-fridge was very practical, and the housekeeping was spot-on. The service was just right – not overly intrusive, but all useful information was proactively provided, making for a great travel experience.

Ms. Zeo at the front desk had a gentle demeanor. While waiting in line, I overheard her patiently assisting every guest, and when it was my turn, she actively apologized for the wait. I can totally understand the staff at hotels with high occupancy rates. My room was in the South Tower, and even a standard room was quite spacious. The bathroom, though small, was fully equipped with everything needed, including a separate shower and a bathtub. The front desk provided a bathtub liner, so I could relax with a bath and a glass of red wine in my room – it was incredibly refreshing. Many thanks to Zeo for her excellent service during this stay.
