Huge thanks to Kevin for the room upgrade to a lake view – it was such a delightful surprise! The rain-shrouded Dongqian Lake has a unique charm, with a misty atmosphere and refreshing air. That natural coolness is something air conditioning just can't replicate. The hotel grounds are expansive, with plenty of greenery and charming garden paths. There are even adorable little ducks wandering around, making a casual stroll incredibly pleasant. You definitely won't get bored staying at this hotel. Sitting by the window in my room, watching the rain over the lake, felt incredibly peaceful and relaxing, far from the city's hustle, bustle, and heat. It’s absolutely perfect for a short getaway.

The hotel lobby is beautifully designed, and the hotel grounds are extensive; you can reach your room by shuttle. It's just across the road from the lake, and the surrounding Dongqian Lake scenery is lovely, lush and green. The staff provided excellent service, especially Winnie from the service center, who contacted us even before check-in and always responded promptly and attentively. We'll definitely be back!

Service: During our stay, what impressed me most was the staff's attitude. Everyone was so friendly and polite, truly living up to the standards of a family-friendly hotel. They were great with the kids. When we went swimming, my daughter forgot her goggles, and one of the hotel staff members even offered to watch my kids for me while complimenting them on their swimming. Haha, they really brightened our day! A big thank you to our butler, Kenvin, for his dedicated care, which made our short vacation so enjoyable! Environment: The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes from the art museum and Hanling Old Street. However, the hotel itself is so great you could easily spend a whole day here, perfect for families who prefer not to rush around. As soon as we checked in yesterday, we headed straight to the pool, then spent quite a while in the relaxation pool, which was exactly what I needed after a hike. A minor note: some of the massage jets seemed to be broken; it would be even better if they were fixed! The breakfast selection was extensive, and we even had a golden beetle 'fly in' (no idea how it got there!) and a group of adorable ducklings joining us, making the kids' breakfast absolutely delightful. The environment is just fantastic, haha 😂 Facilities: Our room had a balcony with a beautiful lake view, which was incredibly comfortable! The wardrobe door made a loud scraping sound against the floor, probably due to long-term use. It would be great if that could be repaired! Finally, nothing in this world is perfect, but I believe sincerity and kindness are what matter most. Thank you to all the hotel staff for giving us such a warm service experience.

Kevin at the front desk of Cordis Dongqian Lake was absolutely amazing! He was enthusiastic and efficient, handled our check-in quickly, and even proactively upgraded our room. He meticulously explained all the hotel facilities, showing great thoughtfulness. The experience was fantastic, highly recommended!

The hotel environment is really good. While the location is a bit out of the way, the views are excellent, and there are plenty of activities, so you can easily spend a lot of time at the hotel.

The hotel environment is truly wonderful. The grounds are expansive and very quiet with excellent greenery. A morning stroll by the lake is incredibly pleasant. You can also rent electric buggies from the hotel, which is super convenient. The breakfast offers a good variety of Chinese and Western options, and they even have omelets. The room was comfortable, the bedding soft, and I slept very well at night. The service was prompt and responsive; they were always available and quick to resolve any issues. Kiko provided very thoughtful service and was incredibly patient.

This time, I brought my pregnant wife for a two-night stay at the Cordis Hotel Ningbo Dongqian Lake, and overall, it exceeded our expectations, especially thanks to Annie. Location and Environment: The hotel is right by Dongqian Lake, and the gardens have a charming Jiangnan aesthetic. An evening stroll by the lake was incredibly therapeutic. Room and Facilities: We had originally booked a different room type, but after Annie learned my wife was pregnant before our check-in, she proactively upgraded us to a room in the Baby Bella building. The room was very quiet, had excellent natural light, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing my pregnant wife to rest very well. The entire building offered high privacy and easy access, which is very friendly for travel during pregnancy. Dining and Service: Breakfast was abundant, with both local specialties and Western options. The service was consistently excellent, especially Annie, who meticulously coordinated our needs before check-in. During our stay, she helped us with the room upgrade and arranged for a quiet area. Her thoughtful and attentive service throughout made us feel very at ease. Recommended for: It's suitable for families with children, couples, and those traveling with seniors or pregnant women looking to relax. Nearby attractions like Xiaoputuo and Hanling Old Street are just a short drive away. Special thanks to Annie for all her attentive service before, during, and after our stay, which made this short trip during pregnancy exceptionally warm.

Traveling with my dog Lucas during the May Day holiday, I pre-booked the Cordis Hotel in Dongqian Lake, Ningbo on Trip.com. The hotel's location is superb, with a large grassy area right across the street. Hanping Old Street is also a convenient 30-minute walk away. Our hotel butler, Linya, was incredibly attentive and even upgraded us to a lake-view room for free. The hotel's lawn was fantastic, and Lucas had a wonderful time playing there. The complimentary travel photoshoot was also a lovely touch. Dongqian Lake is perfect for a dog-friendly vacation, and the Cordis Hotel is definitely worth experiencing with your furry friend.

Even though it's not a dedicated family hotel, it has indoor and outdoor play areas and a soaking pool, which is great for kids. You need a shuttle to get from the lobby to the rooms, making it ideal for a two-day stay to really unwind and enjoy the slower pace.

Every time I visit Dongqian Lake, I used to stay at the Park Hyatt, but this time I tried the Cordis and absolutely fell in love with it! The surrounding area and the hotel's own scenery are stunning. It's a short walk to the lake, and although you need a shuttle to get to and from the main building, it arrives so quickly that it's no inconvenience at all. Our concierge, Winnie, was incredibly quick to respond and resolve any issues, and even upgraded our room type. The breakfast was a little underwhelming, but I will definitely be back to this hotel.

Exceptional service from check-in to check-out! Ms. Linya was incredibly patient and accommodating. She gave me a room tour and, after understanding my needs, specifically arranged a room close to the wellness center. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Dongqian Lake!

Traveling with my parents, we opted for the Deluxe Garden View room. It was great to stay within the same courtyard, offering both convenience and privacy. Dining at Ming Court was a very pleasant experience too, and I'd definitely come back. I particularly enjoyed the wellness center and the breakfast dining area, with its refreshing mountain views.
