Hotel is very good . but quite expensive. Nice river view room .

Hotel is located riverside at the Ningbo Bund area, lots of western bars and restaurant in walking distance away. Would highly recommend to all wanting ti stay in Ningbo

I really enjoyed my stay at the Huagang Hotel. The close proximity to the nightly light show, the museum, great street food and high end restaurants made it great - day or night. Not much English spoken but my translator filled the gaps. WiFi on China is nowhere near secure enough for my taste and the lack of Google products, Facebook, instagram etc is a pain but manageable with forethought. You simply HAVE TO HAVE Alipay and/WeChat on your phone or you can’t function. I still haven’t figured out how to get money into WeChat from Australia with big losses from Aussie banks or relying on Chinese friends. I got burnt badly by Telstra I think - still not certain until I get home, but make sure you turn roaming data off and use a local SIM only. It appears even though my Aussie phone was hotspotted everytime to my Chinese phone, Telstra charged me a fortune for validation of WeChat/weixin payments. Which should have been free of charge through the wifi hotspot! I plan to challenge this Shen I get home. Tony

Hotel is great. Location is right on the bund- close to restaurants, bars and cafes. Hotel is clean and well kept. Room was big, but there was a bad drain smell which stunk out the room. This is quite common in many parts of China. Bed comfortable and in all a pleasant 2nd stay here.

Back in Ningbo and again I choose only this hotel.

The bathroom facilities are complete, the shower water temperature is stable, and the bath products are very useful, which made us feel great. The river view from the window is even more beautiful at night. I will stay here next time I come to Ningbo.

I booked a room facing the balcony, but it was not very clean, the pillowcases were stained, the room facilities were not very new, the toilet was not smart, the air conditioner was loud, and the sound insulation of the room was also poor. Except for the location with a view of the river, there is nothing good about it. Facilities: It's ridiculous. The laundry room in a hotel for the first time was a bucket of caked laundry detergent. Service: I checked in late that day and was told it was the last room. Then there was the air conditioner outdoor unit on the top floor. I didn’t tell them until after check-in was completed. I wonder if this is necessary in a hotel? The elevator is also ugly. It is a hotel owned by Haigang residents. It is not recommended for non-Haigang residents to stay in this hotel.

The four-star hotel only occupies a good location in Laowaitan. The back door of the hotel is Laowaitan Pedestrian Street. When entering the room, I first checked the bathroom and found that the previous guest's toothbrushes were still hanging on the shelf in the shower room. The toiletries in the four-star hotel were not as good as those in the B&B and two-star hotels. They were only given a small cloth bag when checking in, which contained only I got two sets of toothbrushes🪥, but nothing else. What’s more, there is a paper posted in the room stating that 2 bottles of mineral water are provided every day. If it is not enough, I have to buy it. It is 3 yuan a bottle, which is not impressive. Hotels owned by state-owned enterprises need improvement.

During the May Day holiday, I came to Ningbo and chose the Old Bund Hotel. After arriving at the hotel, the manager saw that our family of three was staying and upgraded us to a parent-child room for free. The room was very comfortable and the hotel environment was clean. The children liked the layout of the parent-child room very much, especially the bathtub for playing with water. There was a river view outside the room window and the room was relatively quiet. The front desk service attitude was good. The overall location of the hotel is good, clean and quiet.

The hotel is in a very good location, quiet in a busy city. There is a public terrace on the second floor, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Old Bund. There are many restaurants around the hotel, making it very convenient to eat.

The location is good, next to the art gallery, the back door is the Bund, and outside the window is the Yongjiang River. You can see the sunrise in the morning and walk around the lively Old Bund in the evening. The service attitude is very good, polite and friendly. The room is large, the washing area is spacious and clean. It is quiet and not noisy. It was my first time in Ningbo and I was very satisfied with my choice.
